Chapter 10 (A new life)

~Zoey's POV~

When everyone got threw running around the neighborhood we came home and we made dinner together. I'm really loving this new life I don't have to worry about my family anymore or Taylor. Things with me and Jackson have been going really well. We have been texting each other like crazy I'm hoping that he will ask me out soon. Speaking of Jackson I just got a text from him.

***Text Convo***

Jackson - Hey smartphone :*

oh my gosh he just sent me a kissing face. I'm blushing.

Me - hey :)

Jackson - how are you... are things going better with your family now?

Me - Yea... everything is great the boys actually understand me now and are helping me out. Although I kinda miss my old phone.

Jackson - why?

Me - Because it had over like 300 songs on it and basically my life.

Jackson - Well now you have a new life.... and the best part is, I get to be in it. ;)

Me - thanks sooo... when are we going on our date?

Jackson - can't tell you.

Me - why not?

Jackson - Because it's a surprise.

Me - Well can you at least tell me where were going then.

Jackson - nope.

Me - *Sigh* Okay. I love you. :)

Jackson - Love you too smartphone ;)

I put my phone on the table and went into my mom's room. I walked in their with the biggest smile on my face. I could tell my mom noticed.

Mom - "What are you so happy about?"

Me - "Oh nothing... just that Jackson is taking me out!"

Mom - "Oh my gosh, honey that's great. Where is he taking you and when?"

Me - "Well... he won't tell me he said it's going to be a surprise. Oh and that he'll text me the day were going out. "

Mom - "Well since its a surprise then let's just let the boys cook dinner and we can go out looking for a dress for your big night. "

Me - "Okay... hey mom?"

Mom - "Yes?"

Me - "When did you first notice that you loved Ted?"

Mom - "Well it was a very special night... It was actually the night when you were at an old friends house, remember?"

Me - "Oh yea, I remember you told me that I could go over Ashley's house and sleepover. "

Mom - "Yes. Well when you first notice that you love someone... is when you know that they will do anything for you, be anything for you. They'll tell you anything bad or good. And that they'll always be there when you having a bad day. "

Me - "Oh. "

Mom - "Why do you think you love Jackson?"

Me - "I might.... I'm not exactly sure yet though. I'm pretty sure ill know though on our date night. "

Mom - "Alright well let's go to the mall. "

Me - "Okay. "

Me and my mom walked into the kitchen and my mom told them that we were going shopping and I grabbed my phone just in case someone text me or calls me.

***The Mall***

When we finally arrived at the mall we went to my favorite store. I picked out the perfect dress. It was an all red dress that was long in the back and short at the front and it was shoulder cut. When I paid for it we went back home and dinner was all set and waiting for us. The guys were in the living room watching football.

Me - "Hey guys... I see your watching football go Cowboys!"

Mom - "Yea, come on guys it's time for dinner, ill pause the tv for you. "

While everyone was going to the dinner table I went upstairs to put my dress in my closet. I can't wait for me and Jackson's date. I'm so excited.

I came back downstairs to see that the boys had made my favorite dinner. Pork chops, shells and cheese, black eyed peas and cornbread. Mmmm. I hurried and sat down and chugged my food down.

After dinner I went upstairs to freshen up and went to sleep. Getting for another day of school.
