Chapter 12 (Date night 2 part 2)

~Zoey's POV~

Ten minutes later I heard the doorbell ring. I walked downstairs and I opened the door. I looked at Jackson and he looked great. He was wearing an all black suit with black shoes. nice.

Jackson - "Wow, Zoey... you look great!"

Me - "Thanks, so do you. "

We started staring at each other and their was an awkward silence.

Jackson - "Oh uh... shall we go?"

Me - "Yes. Oh hold on. Mom I'm leaving. "

I opened the door but then I heard my mom running from her room and she had a camera. lol.

Mom - "Wait, wait, wait. Let me get a picture. "

Jackson held me by my waist and so did I. My mom took a few more pictures and then I saw Ted. My mom showed him the pictures and they both started awwing.

Mom - "Omg gosh... my little girl is growing up. "

Ted - "She sure is. And you must be Jackson. "

Jackson - "Yes. Nice to meet you. "

Ted - "You too. Well I guess we'll let you guys go. Have fun but not too much fun. "

Me - "Dad!"

Jackson - "*Chuckles* Yes sir. "

We closed the door behind us and Jackson opened the door for me. Well he's a gentleman so that's a sign. Yes!. About 20 minutes later we arrived at a nice restaurant. And to make it even better it was Mexican restaurant. I love Mexican food it's my favorite.

Me - "Wow this is really nice. "

Jackson - "Thanks. I know you like Mexican. "

We went to a table and sat down. He pulled out a chair for me. I think if this night goes better than I expect... then I think I'm ready for him to be my boyfriend.

We we ordered our food I got the enchiladas. I love those... it's like my favorite food no matter how messy. Jackson got the Mexican chicken. The food was great. When we finished eating we left the restaurant and he drove me back home. I still haven't told him that I want him to be my boyfriend.

Me - "Jackson...?"

Jackson - "Yea?"

Me - "I really like you and... well of course you know that but... Will you be my boyfriend?!"

Jackson - "No.. "

My face went from excited to sad with a snap of the finger.

Jackson - "I would love to be your boyfriend!"

Me - "Jackson! Don't ever do that to me again you made me think that you didn't like me for a second. "

Jackson - "Sorry, I just had to get that out of me.. I couldn't help it. "

Me - "Thanks for tonight. I really enjoyed it. "

Jackson - "Your welcome and I'm glad you did Zoey. "

He leaned in and he kissed me on the cheek... finally! He saw my house and stopped in front of it.

Jackson - "Bye Zoey. "

Me - "Bye Jackson. "

I walked into the house and I walked into my mom's room and I screamed.

Me - "Ahhh, mom guess what?!"

Mom - "What?"

Me - "I'm going out with Jackson now!"

Mom - "Oh my gosh.. I'm so happy for you! So what was it like?"

Me - "The date was great. He took me out to a Mexican restaurant. I didn't even know he knew I like Mexican food. "

Mom - "As long as your happy I'm happy.  Now go get some sleep school is tomorrow. "

Me - "You got it. "

I went in my room and I freshened up and I went to sleep.
