Chapter 11 (Date Night 2)

~Zendaya's POV~

I woke up early this morning. I looked at the time and it was 4:39. There was no point in going back to sleep if I'm just gonna get back up in like two hours.

I turned on my t.v. and I started watch the fresh Prince of bel air. I loved that show I could watch that everyday if I wanted to.

Before I knew it I looked at the time on my phone and it said 6:30. I got in the shower and I did my morning routine. I put on a plain black tee shirt with some blue jean shorts and some blue and black jordans. I decided to do something different with my hair. I was getting tired of the same look. I flattened my hair and put a purple snap back on. I got my new skateboard and I headed to school.

When I got to school everyone was staring at me. It was really making me feel uncomfortable. Although they're probably staring because I have a black shirt on and it's spring time. I don't care what anybody else thinks anymore I like the new me. I kept skating and I finally found Rachel and Charlie sitting together.

Me - "Hey wassup guys. "

Charlie - "Hey... cool look. "

Me - "Thanks!"

Rachel - "Yea, I agree that new look is all you. "

Me - "Thanks, hey have you guys seen Jackson around?"

Charlie - "Yea, he went that way. "

He pointed to around the corner.

Me - "Thanks. "

I walked around the corner and I saw Jackson at his locker putting his stuff away. When he saw me he closed his locker and ran up to me.

Jackson - "Hey Zoey. So ready for our date?"

Me - "Our date is going to be at school?"

Jackson - "But it is today... ill text you later for the time. "

Me - "Oh great! I can't wait. "

Jackson - "Me either. Bye. "

He hugged me and started walking away.

Me - "Bye Jackson! "

***Lunch***

After I went through the line and got my food I looked for Rachel. I found her sitting with Charlie. I really don't ha e a problem with sitting with just two people. I wanted to give Jackson space anyway. I went to the table and sat down across from Rachel and Charlie. I told her to sit by me so I could tell her everything.

Rachel - "Omg you guys are finally going on a real date this time. Where are you guys going?"

Me - "He hasn't told me yet. He said he would text me the time later. "

Rachel - "Oh that's good. At least he's trying by not spoiling it. "

Me - "Yea. "

We all finished eating and we dumped our trays and went to class.

***Home***

When I got home I went to my room and I layed my dress and shoes out on my bed. When I went to the bathroom I got a text from Jackson.

***Text Convo***

Jackson : Hey Zoey, I can't wait for tonight. Ill pick you up at 8?

Me : Sure, so you're not going to tell me where wear going?

Jackson : Nope, it's a surprise trust me you'll love it.

Me : I hope so.

Jackson : It won't be far. Bye Zoey :)

Me : Bye Jackson ;)

It was 4:30 so I still had a lot of time left before I got ready. Since I had a lot of time I went to my mom's room and I saw her watching tv.

Me - "Knock, knock. "

Mom - "Hey honey. What's going on?"

Me - "Well today Jackson told me that we will have our date tonight. He texted me a few minutes ago and he said that he will pick me up at 8. Is that too late?"

Mom - "No, not at all. I understand you're getting older now. So I won't give you a curfew. But just remember be responsible!"

Me - "Okay. Thanks mom. Oh and can I take your car and go get my nails done?"

Mom - "Of course. Bye sweetie. "

Me - "Bye mom. "

I walked outside and I got into my mom's Honda accord. I turned some music and I drove down to the nail salon. When I got there it was a little packed so I sat down and I played on my phone. When there was an open seat I got up and the lady told me to go ahead and sit down.

Nail designer - "Ma'am you're ready. "

Me - "Okay. "

Nail designer - "Follow me. "

I followed her and I told her what nail design I wanted. About 30 minutes later she was done. On my thumb and pinky it was a black and white cheetah print. Then on my index and ring finger were black light brown and white and they were curved to the end of the side of my fingers. Then on my middle finger I had black and the Chanel sign in gold. I loved it.

When I paid for it I left and went back home. When I check the time on my phone it said 7:00. Aww man I only got one hour to get ready. I gotta hurry. I ran into the house and I ran upstairs.

I put on my Ted one shoulder cut dress and I put on my black stilettos. I combed through my hair and I check the time it said 7:50. Perfect. Jackson is going to be here in ten minutes.

***Ten Minutes Later***

Ten minutes later I heard the doorbell ring. I walked Downstairs and I opened the door. I looked at Jackson and he looked great.
