Chapter 10.-Nicole's secret(part 1.)

Nicole's POV:

" Okay it's fixed! " Autumn shouted.

" How can I thank you? " Yusei looked at the bike and indeed it is fixed.

" I already said it's okay i don't need anything! Only fixing duel runners like this one is enough!"

We all breathed out in relief 'cause we have absolutely no money. I approached her carefully playing with the hem of my shirt.

" Amm can I ask you something?" she tilted her head waiting for me to speak.

" Can we stay here for the night? Our house like...exploded. "

I bit my lip as she crossed her arms.

" What do you mean exploded? What happened? " I looked at Yusei asking him should i tell her the truth trough my look.

His said ' No she will think we are mental or something ' and mine totally opposite said ' but maybe she knows something about it.maybe she can help us! '

I looked at Hann and asked her the same and she nodded.

" Do you know something about people being controlled and they have a spider mark on their right arm?" she looked at me as if I am crazy and I immediately regretted asking her.

" F-forget it I-"

" No no. I know. My brother was one. " I could see that she doesn't wanna talk about it but I have to ask.

" What happened to him? " Hann was faster than me. Autumn's eyes filled with tears.

" He died.Exploded.Boom! " Silence filled the room.

" T-there is a chance he is alive Autumn! Our friend exploded too and we believe she is still alive. You must believe! " she shook her head and closed her eyes one tear escaping her eye.

" He's dead. " she said and ran in the other room.

" You had to push her like that?" Yusei asked me.

" Its not my fault I wanted to help! "

" But you didnt and now-" Hann stepped between us.

" Fighting will not solve anything! " we both shut up.

I was sad and angry at the same time and some wind started going around me.Other two didnt notice yet so I just lifted my hand and collected wind in it and closed it.When i opened it again wind dissapeared.Thank God I learned to control it so well.

Then in my head I heard a voice I didnt hear in a while.

Have a job for you.Come immediately.

I sighed and then walked to other two.

" Its already late we should go sleep guys.We will think of something tommorow. " they nodded and we searched the house to find where we can sleep.I took the king sized bed with Yusei and Hann took couch in the living room.

Me and Yusei lyied on the bed and he hugged me from behind and I was suprised but didn't say anything.After all I love being in his arms.Makes me feel safe.

He fell asleep after a few minutes and I sighed getting up slowly not to wake him up.

I opened my hands and put them in front of me and,as expected,there appeared my dark red coat with little lines and circles on it.I put it on,the hood covering my eyes and most of my face, and jumped trough the window.What I didn't notice is that Yusei watched me leave.

Yusei's POV:

I pretended I was asleep cause I noticed Nicole is planning something.I watched her get up and put that weird coat on.She then took a deep breath and jumped trough the window.I stood there looking at the place where she dissapeared and thought about where did she go and what is she planning to do.

I'm gonna wait 'till you come back.I will find out what are you hiding, Nicole.

Nicole's POV:

I breathed out and jumped from the building on the man I should kill.I stabbed him with my hidden knife and put him on the floor and just jumped on the building again.I watched as people surrounded him and then left.

Am I sorry for killing him?

Not at all.

Do I regret killing him?

I'm to used to this to have any feelings after killing someone.

I jumped back in the room where I left Yusei and found him looking at me while standing in the middle of the room.

" Where did you go? " he came closer to me but I put my hand on his bare chest stopping him and then moved to the window again.

" I can't tell you "

" Why? " I know i'm probably hurting him with this but i have no choice.

" You don't know anything about me.And it's better that way " I jumped out again leaving Yusei wondering what I meaned by that.

I'm sorry Yusei.But its too dangerous for anyone to know what am I and what am I doing.
