Namjoon ♡ Clouds

Namjoon's hand was warm in your own, the soles of your shoes crunching the gravels beneath them as the both of you leisured down the walking trail together. The sun was just starting to set, painting the sky in pastel hues of blush and lilac. The clouds had been dense and gray during the duration of your walk, but now they were eye-catching, reflecting the stunning colors that stained the sky.

Namjoon veered off the pathway, guiding you over to a nearby grassy area.
"What are we doing?" You asked while he lowered himself to the ground, guiding you to sit with him.
"Stopping to enjoy the clouds for a little while."
You leaned back and settled in the lush grass, sighing contently while casting your eyes to the sky above, watching the thick, fluffy clouds pass by.
"They're beautiful, aren't they?" Namjoon voiced.
"Absolutely gorgeous. I'm in awe of nature's phenomenons sometimes."
"Me too. It's incredible that we get to experience things like this."

The two of you kept your eyes on the clouds of various shapes and sizes moseying across the painted skies. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, a gentle zephyr caressing your cheeks.

"You know, some of us are like clouds." Namjoon spoke up.
"How so?"
"We just float through life, going wherever the wind takes us, carrying us to new places and giving us new experiences." He stared up at the sky as he shared his deep, philosophical thoughts aloud. "And sometimes things get dark and stormy, but that always passes."
"Wow." You breathed, always amazed by Namjoon's incredibly profound analogies and deep way of thinking. "I never thought about it that way. You're so intelligent."
"Nah. I just think about things a lot." He chuckled, resting his arms behind his head.
"You're observant and you find meaning in ordinary everyday things. That's really beautiful."
Namjoon flashed a dimpled grin, his chest filling with fondness at your words.

You and Namjoon stayed right where you were gazing at the sky until the sun dipped low in the sky, sharing your thoughts with each other.
