After our heart-felt conversation yesterday, I felt a lot closer to Ash. Him mentioning his past brought back memories of my own past. Now that he has trusted me by telling me about his past, I know I'll have to tell him about Derek soon.

I don't have any problem in telling him. I trust him completely and nothing he has done till now has made me think otherwise. It's just that whenever I recall the events, I feel ashamed of myself. I don't want Ash to think low of me. It's my insecurities keeping me from telling him about Derek.

Before I can over-think the situation and go into the deep pits of depression, Jasper comes back with a plate of pizza rolls and sits down beside me on the couch, Noah following him while balancing three glasses of coke in his hands.

We were binge watching Marvel movies, having nothing better to do on a lazy Tuesday afternoon. Jasper and Noah had invited themselves over after school, while Cam had gone over to Rose's. Emily was visiting her Grandma. Asher was babysitting his little sister, his mom having gone out shopping with my mom.

"What are you thinking about?" Jasper asked me, tapping me on the head.

"Nothing. Stuff," I answered vaguely. Noah started munching on the pizza rolls, occasionally taking big gulps of his coke. Jasper looked at me sceptically.

"Is it about Derek? Did he send you anything else after that note?" he asked, worry etched into his face. I had told these guys about the note Derek sent to me a few days ago, and Jasper was so livid that he demanded us to 'let him go and kick Derek's ass senseless into a mushy pulp'.

Lately both Derek and Rachel had been silent, gone AWOL. That was highly unlikely of them. There had been no other cryptic notes or messages from Derek, and Rachel had been keeping to herself at school except for an occasional sneer towards me or flirting with Asher.

"No. Nothing after that note," I confirmed, though the thought of that night sent a shiver down my spine, making me shudder. Jasper noticed this and put his arm around my shoulder, pulling me closer to him. I snuggled into him and lay my head on his chest, watching Loki fake his own death. Noah took the courtesy to finish our glasses of coke without our permission and let out a loud burp.

"Dude, you were not supposed to drink my coke," Jasper groaned, slapping Noah on the head.

"Coke is life baby. I see an unclaimed coke, I gulp it down. You should know that by now," he shrugged, acting nonchalant. "Where's your boyfriend, though?"

"First of all, he's not my boyfriend," I rolled my eyes, knowing that he was talking about Ash. "Second of all, he is babysitting his little sister."

Noah snickers and Jasper hides his laugh behind a series of coughs. I roll my eyes at them and concentrate on the movie. Honestly, Chris Hemsworth is way under appreciated. He makes the character of Thor looks so much more appealing than Rick Riordan in the Magnus Chase series.

Soon, the movie ended and Jasper shook Noah awake. Apparently, Noah had fallen asleep during the movie, cradling the empty popcorn bowl in his hands.

"Wake up, Noah. We need to get going before your mom goes hulk on us," Jasper sighed, shaking Noah's shoulder to wake him up. Noah's mom had invited Jasper's folks over for dinner as they were close friends and the boys had to help Mrs. Waters with the dinner preparations.

"Five more minutes," Noah mumbled while cuddling with the popcorn bowl in his hands. Jasper pinched the bridge of his nose, clearly frustrated with Noah's childish behaviour. I let out a loud laugh before walking over to Noah's side and leaning down to get my mouth in level with his ear.
