Something magical happened the day I met you
My heart opened and accepted you
My breath stopped at the sight of you
And soon I followed and came to you.
You took great care of me
You cherished every drop of tear that came from me
You slowly eased the blanket of gloom from me
And instead replaced it with a cloak of happiness you made for me.
I guess this was how it was always meant to be
A classic tale of just you and me.
