The girl was a wall flower
The girl was not seen
Was not heard
Was not there.
The girl was always before their eyes.
But always seemed to be at the corner of their vision
Not given even a passing thought.
The girl sought for attention
They saw the distraction but never the person behind it.
The girl was a person.
She deserved to be seen
To be heard
To be loved.
