Knock...Knock
I stay up 'till midnight recently. My new job forced me to do this. I'm working as an editor of a very famous newspaper. I'm still working on my computer with a cup of coffee to accompany me.
Suddenly, I hear knocks on my door. I check it through the door hole. But no one is out there. All I see just a quiet street with a dimly lit from the street lights. I decide to go back to my desk. But it knocks again. Same as before, I check it. No one is out there.
"What a mad stranger!" It must be a stranger trying to scare me. I decide not to open the door if it knocks again. I'm walking back to my desk. Suddenly the lights off.
"Damn! What's wrong with the lights? I haven't finish my work yet." I'm continoue walking with limited light from my cellphone. The sound comes again. "KNOCK...KNOCK..KNOCK..."
It is so close to me. No, the sound is not from the outside. I point the lights to where I hear the sound clearly. Now I realize it isn't a knock from out the door. It's a creepy woman crawling on my ceiling.
