Shade? Why won't you answer me?

Giving up on trying to contact my brother who left me with a note and a handwritten manual for my magic I sigh as I go and get dressed in my regular clothing for when I go hunting for anything supernatural causing disruption.

It's been on the rise recently and I'm the only one up to taking them out since Shade is gone and the wolves in this town tend to stay in the woods instead of the city.

I dress in black leather pants, a black tank top and my leather jacket along with my black boots.

I put on my holster which has two holsters on either side for both of my pistols.

I slide my daggers into my boots in the little loops that fit them snugly before looking in the mirror to see if everything is hidden suitably.

I meet my own blue eyes in the mirror and let out a sigh as I remember Shade and wonder where the fuck he went and why he left me with a manual that basically told me that my magic took essence from the area around it but most of the time I wouldn't need to do that unless I was using my power for something on a huge scale.

I know how to do a lot of things with my magic and I also have increased speed and agility as well as hearing and before he left Shade taught me how to stealthy so I didn't get caught by the supernatural creatures I was hunting.

Leaving my room, I head into the garage attached to the side and grab some more pistols and ammo along with an AK-47 before fitting them into the rather lengthy compartment.

I look at the garage door and it slides open, I smile as I get onto my bike before tapping it and it starts.

I drive out and decide to go to the woods since there's also been more rogue action recently, I slow down as I scan the woodsy area but speed up when I don't see anything unusual.

The next thing I know something slams into the side of my bike and I go flying off it and into the nearest tree, before my bike can crash into me I bring my hands up and stop it midair before flipping it back and lowering it into a clear space before using my magic to put everything back into the compartment.

Groaning, I slowly stand up and pull out my pistol and aim it at the idiotic rogue in front of me.

"You chose to hit the wrong bike buddy." I say as I pull the trigger and hit the wolf right in his head, he drops to the floor and I hear the sizzling of his brain as the silver bullet burns him.

I begin to walk to my bike until I hear an ominous twig snap, turning round I smirk as I say "Really, you're going to go with the cliché twig snap in the woods?"

"You're right, it was a bit too cliché but hey, I like a little drama." Says a voice from behind me as a set of claws are put to my neck as an arm slithers around my waist.

"And who the fuck are you?" I reply as I prepare to set this asshole on fire.

"An employee and don't even think about trying anything." He snarls.

"An employee for who?" I ask as my curiosity kicks in.

"Someone who you escaped a year ago." He replies and I freeze.

"I see you know of him?" He chuckles.

"What's his name?" I ask as I flick my fingers and inflict him with a truth spell.

"Bane, he's one of the oldest vampires out there and he's been plotting to kidnap you for ages." He tells me and I smirk.

"Thanks for the information but I better be off." I say as I form a fireball in my hand and deftly flick my wrist so that it hits his stomach.
