You couldn’t get the strange boy out of your head.
Ever since you got back home with rabbit in hand your mind couldn’t stop wandering about Alfred and who he was and why was he there. You had so many questions about him. These questions just kept haunting your mind.
This guy sparked your interest, there was just something about him, was it the twinkle in his eyes? Or that cheerful smile that could light up a room? You couldn’t think straight. You were sitting in your bed head in hands.
Your mother passed your tray of food through the hole in your door, since you refused to talk to her, and everybody else. You already broke that ruled of yours though by speaking to Alfred.
You thanked god it was finally monday, because you were sure you were going to loose your sanity cooped up in a room like this. Sure, you could go out on any other day but being the weird, (y/n) you refused to do such and stick to a schedule.
So what did you do on all the other days? You enjoyed training in your room, you had a punching bag at the ready whenever you felt like letting your stress out of your body. When you weren’t doing that you’d find yourself reading.
Like every other monday you grabbed your equipment and crawled carefully out the window, and began running towards the woods, crunching the leaves like cockroaches on you way there.
You stopped by the river where you met Alfred. The water glistened in the sunlight, the leaves of trees casted shadows over the waters.
The sound of footsteps alarmed you, causing you to turn and face a grinning Alfred with a gun in one hand. You nodded towards his direction in acknowledgement. “Hey.” You uttered out as you returned your longing gaze to the water.
You wanted so badly to cool yourself down in the fresh waters but sadly you lacked the ability to swim since you father or mother never taught you. “Wanna swim?” He asked.
“I do.” you responded looking in to his eyes deeply. “But I can’t” you added looking away, shamefully. He walked towards you and clapped his hand onto your shoulders and began laughing hysterically causing you to turn red with anger.
“What you talking ‘bout? Everyone can!”
You shook your head in disagreement. “Well, I can’t.”
“Let’s be serious, you can.” He argued.
“Let’s be serious, I can’t.” You said in a teasing voice.
He gave you a concerned look but shook his head and crossed his arms over his broad chest. He took you by your wrist and dragged you towards the river. Digging your heels into the ground you brought him to a halt.
“If you even get a drop of water on my, you’ll be so fucking sorry you ever met me.” You barked as he dropped your hand, he couldn’t help but gawk at you, you’re scariness out shone the beauty that your face bore. “Why’d you even want to see me again?” You inspected.
