"I'm breaking up with you, Hayden.", I said, trembly walking out of his house. I heard him yell. Punch the wall. But nothing can get my mind off that memory. And I don't think anything ever will.

I was jamming out to Shawn Mendes on the way to school. "IT ISN'T IN MY BLOOOOOD"

I got out of my car and was immediately greeted by Kenzie.

"Annie!", Kenzie yelled "where have you been? I've been calling, texti-"she ranted

"I'm fine, I'm just. I-I, he hit me Kenzie" I fell into her arms while she assured me it was going to be okay. "We're done, I should've listened to you" I cried.

"oh Annie it's gonna be okay, he was just a waste of time and energy"

I grabbed my biology notebook from my locker then locked it up.

"I'm sorry" I expected this from Hayden but I realized I was stupid to forgive him. I just walked to class with him trailing behind me.

"Please hear me out Anns" he pleaded. "Annie" I corrected. "Please hear me out, Annie"

I didn't have time for this I've been through this too many times. I was about to walk into my class but he grabbed my wrist and pinned me against a locker.

"Ow Hayden!" He didn't listen and started to kiss my neck. "Hayden get off of me!" He started sucking on my neck. "Stop!" He finally separated us.

I punched his chest and kicked him in, you know where. "I will NEVER forgive you"

Kenzie and I decided to get some food after school since we haven't really hung out much the past couple of days.

"And John was like 'I don't care I'm taking you to the Bahamas", Kenzie said.

"You guys are adorable, he's a great boyfriend"

"How are you doing Annie?"

"Good. I think I made the right choice"

Then at that moment the waiter came to our table, "Hey guys! What can I get you?"

I looked up at him and I gotta say, he looked pretty hot. He had fluffy, brown hair and a bright smile. But the thing that caught my eye was his. (Cringe much?)He had sky blue eyes with a hint of gray, when he looked at me it was like time stopped. I could get lost in his eyes forever.

"Annie? Annie!", Kenzie said snapping her fingers in my face "Oh um yeah, can I get a number 10 with no tomatoes?"

"Of course!" He said winking at me. My heart started beating really fast and Kenzie noticed.

"Moving on already?"
"What?"
"The waiter, really seemed that you were nervous"
"What! No way he was just cute"
"Yeah okay, well I'm gonna go to the restroom"

She left me with no one and the food wouldn't be coming any time soon so I went on my phone. I clicked on the Instagram app and- SHIT! I forgot to block him on here. He messaged me 53 times.

I click block and set my phone down before I read the rest. I've had enough of him today.

"Hey", the waiter said while sliding into the chair in front of me
"Hey."

"Sorry if this is weird but you just seemed lonely and your friend left"

"Oh no it's fine she's coming back" I assured him.

"I'm Brennan by the way" he gave out his hand for me to shake
"Annie" I say as I shake his hand.
