Chapter 3. (The Meet)

I was walking around the house looking for Alyssa and i was slightly stumbling. Im slightly buzzed you could say. Vodka was in my cup. I finally found Alyssa talking to some guy. She looked over at me and laughed. "Are you okay Mia?" She said laughing. I shrugged and giggled. "Maybe, maybe not." I said walking away. I walked outside to get some air and sat on the swings outback. I was swinging, looking down when someone was walking towards me. They sat on the swing next to me and when i looked over it was Jason. I gasped and coughed up my drink. He chuckled. "So i'm guessing you wanted to be alone?" He asked. I shrugged and sighed. "Sometimes it's better to be alone.." I said. He nodded. "I know the feeling" He said. I really shouldn't be talking to him. I sighed and got up. "I have to go find my friend, ill see you around?" he nodded and i walked away. Jason looked so nice and sweet, he didn't seem like a cold hearted killer to me. I walked over to Ali and told her we needed to go and she understood. I just wanted to go to bed. We got into the car and she drove because i was to tipsy. She parked the car in her driveway and we went inside. I went upstairs and changed out of my dress and into sweatpants and a vogue crop top. I walked out of the bathroom and Ali was already laying down. "Night asshead" i said laughing. She laughed. "Night shitface" I walked into the guest room and laid down. I got comfortable and fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning with a huge headache. I got up and walked downstairs to see Ali watching t.v. I sat next to her and she handed me a glass of water and some pain meds. I swallowed the meds. "Thanks" i said chuckling. She nodded and smiled. "You know me so well huh?" I asked. She nodded. "Didnt you forger about your dad?" She asked. Shit! He's going to kill me. I grabbed my phone and decided to call him.

D- Mia.
M-Hi daddy. Im sorry i didn't call you.
D-It's fine. Your okay aren't you?
M-Yes, dad I'm okay. What time do you want me to come back?
D-Well the gangs still here, but i want you back at 3. No later. I have to go. Ill talk to you when you get home.

He hung up before i could say anything. I sighed and put my phone down. "Hey, wanna go shopping today? Get new stuff?" She asked. I nodded real quick and we both ran upstairs to get ready. I decided to wear black leggings, a black crop that says 'love' in pink letters and white converse. I put my hair in a ponytail and waited for Ali to come out. I waited 10 minutes and she came out in white shorts with a black shirt that says 'be mine' and black vans. We grabbed our bags and walked downstairs. "Wanna go out for breakfast?" I asked. She nodded and yawned. I started the car and drove to Starbucks. I ordered a mocha swirl blended and a cinnamon roll while she got a caramel frappe and a cinnamon roll too. I payed and we got back into the car. "Where to now?" I asked starting the car. She shrugged and sighed. "How about the mall?" She asked. I nodded and drove off. While i was driving some black SUV was driving behind me. I nudged Ali and nodded my head back at the car. "You think their following us?" I asked. She looked at me confused. "They've been behind us for a while.." I said looking back time to time. She looked scared. I took a left at a light and they still followed. I shifted gears so that they wouldn't keep up, yet their still behind me. I started to get frustrated. "Call my dad and put him on speaker please." I asked her. She did what she was told because when i'm upset, it's not pretty. It rung twice and then he finally answered.
D- Im in a meeting. It better be important.
M-Well if you call someone fucking following me for 20 minutes important then yes it is.
D- What do you mean someones following you?! Where are you?!
M- Im on the highway and this car has been following me.
D- Read me the license plate. Jason, write this down.
Im on speaker?! Why? I thought i was a secret...what the hell man?
Ali read the numbers.
D- Okay, well Jason's on his way just drive towards the house.
M- Whatever.
I hung up and my grip tightened on the steering wheel. "Mia, are you okay?" Ali asked. I shook my head no and took a right to go towards my house. I sighed and noticed a black Ferrari coming up right behind me. Who the hell? I looked at Ali and she looked terrified.
"It's Jason, Mia." I laughed. Wow. Way to go dad.
