Chapter 7. (Tough Love)

Mia's POV

We finished shopping and we were walking out to the car with 3 shopping carts. I had one while Jason had to take the other 2. I laughed as i turned around to see him struggling. "It's not funny Mia." He said. I nodded. "It really is." We packed up all of the groceries in the trunk and got in. "So training starts tomorrow." He said. I groaned. Why do i have to train. "What time? And why do i have to?" I asked keeping my eyes on the road glancing at him time to time. He shrugged. "Thats for you to find out, and your dad's orders. Not mine." He said checking his phone. I just nodded. I pulled up to the house and honked. Alex ran out first and grabbed the bag of candy and ran back in. I laughed as Jason looked at me funny. I just shrugged and grabbed bags. I walked inside and saw Alex on the couch with empty wrappers all around him with chocolate on his face. He faced me and smiled a little boy smile and waved. "Your something else Alex. Thats why I'm the normal one" Jason said laughing behind me. "Oh yeah?" Alex said walking up to him. He jumped on his back and started kissing his cheek. "I love you so much pookie boo!" Alex said laughing. Jason shook him off and slammed him to the ground. "Do that again and i'll kick your ass" he said. Alex just laughed and nodded. Well, now i know that Jason has anger issues. I sighed and walked into my room while shutting the door. I walked into my closet and picked up all of my dirty clothes. I walked downstairs with my basket and when i was about to reach for the Laundry room door, Jason came up behind me and took the basket and opened the door for me. "Thanks" i said smiling at him. He just smirked and nodded. "How come your being so nice to me?" I asked. He shrugged and looked down. "I don't know, i guess you never gave me a reason to hate you" he laughed. Well at least he doesn't hate me.
"So me and the guys wanted to know if you wanted to go to the beach" he asked. I thought about it. I guess it wouldn't hurt. I nodded. "Yeah, just let me get changed" i said looking down at my lazy day outfit. He smirked and walked away. I went upstairs and walked into my closet. I grabbed a strapless pink and white bikini, a strapless long light pink dress with white flip flops. I put my hair into a bun and put on my sunglasses and walked downstairs. I saw everyone ready and Alex gnawing on a candy bar. I just giggled and rolled my eyes. Jason stood up and wrapped his arm around my waist as we walked outside. It wasn't a uncomfortable silence that we had in the car but a peaceful one. One that i couldn't explain. I just sat and watched out the window. I could sense Jason staring at me so i turned to look at him. He blushed and looked down. We finally arrived at the beach and there a few people there. Just how i like it. I haven't been to the beach in a long time because my dad said that it was to dangerous and a bad thing. I took off my shoes so i could feel the sand on my feet. I smiled as i walked to the shoreline. It was beautiful. I was walking when Jason ran up to me and picked me up bridal style. He ran towards the beach. "JASE PUT ME DOWN! RIGHT NOW!" I screamed while laughing. He just smirked and threw me into the water. When i came up to the top he was holding his stomach and laughing really hard. I glared at him. I got out and walked up to him. "Now, look at you. Your all dry. It's a shame if someone hugged you and got you all wet" i said smirking. He stopped laughing and started to run. I ran behind him and tackled him to the sand. I fell on top of him and stared into his big brown/hazel eyes. He had a small dimple when he smiled and his pink lips. We slowly leaned in and were about to kiss when Anthony ran up to us. "Guys we have to go! And woah, i hope I'm not intruding on anything" he said awkwardly. I shook my head no and we all ran to the cars. Jason got in the driver's seat and i got into the passengers seat as he sped down the street. I looked behind us and there was a black SUV right behind us. The same one that was following me and Alyssa the day that my dad was leaving. I sighed and held my head in my hands. Why does this have to happen to me?!

Jason's POV.

We almost kissed until Anthony had to come. We finally lost the SUV after a while and were heading back. I looked over at Mia and she looked stressed out, and angry. "Mia, were here" i said softly. She stormed out of the car and walked inside. I followed behind her and shut the door. "Is she okay?" Alex asked. I shrugged. "Not sure." I said walking towards my room. I changed into basketball shorts, and a white T-shirt. I walked downstairs to see Mia and the guys in the living room. Alex and Anthony were playing C.O.D II and the rest were all watching. I sat down next to Mia and she looked up at me. She faked a smile and looked away. I wrapped my arms around her and she snuggled up against my chest. I think I'm starting to like Mia. I sighed silently. I have mixed emotions about this. I doubt that she even likes me back. Tomorrow morning is the day that she starts training, and she wont like me then. It's tough. Tough love i guess.
