Chapter 5. (Dont mess with the best)

Mia's POV.

I cant believe he's leaving me.
He's my dad and all that i have left. Ali was rubbing my back because i was crying. At least she gets to move in, so i wont be entirely alone. I sighed. "Im so sorry Mia.." She said. I just nodded. I didn't know what to say. I was just numb. I couldn't say anything. Just sit there. What did my dad mean by train me?. I decided to go and talk to my dad. I walked out and went to his office. He was packing up all of his stuff. How long was he supposed to be gone?.
"Dad? Can we talk?" I asked. He looked up and nodded. "Yeah sweetheart si-" i shook my head no. He sighed and sat down on his chair.
"Look, Mia. Im sorry okay? I just need whats best for you." He said.
"Best for me?. Dad, your leaving me. Thats not whats best for me. I need you here.. Why are you leaving anyway.?" I asked.
"I need to get them off of your trail so they'll leave you alone." He said blankly.
I nodded. "How long will you be gone?" I asked. He shrugged. "3-4 months. Maybe more, but Ali can move in. But only after your trained, in 1 month you'll be fully trained and ready." he said.
"Okay." I said. I couldn't cry anymore. I just walked away. I walked into my room and Ali was still there. "My dad said that you could move in when im done training. Which, is in a month." I said slamming myself on my bed. I heard her laugh. "What Are you laughing att?" I whined. "Just how your laying" she said. I laughed too. I looked at the time. 5:30. "I have to get home girl, but ill text you and call you everyday until that month is over okay?" She said. I nodded and got up to hug her. She waved goodbye and left. I decided to walk downstairs and get a drink. I grabbed a cup and poured water in and then i heard a knock on the door. I didn't want to answer it so i just sat there for a little while. But the knocking didn't stop, so i pulled up the screen and saw Jason with the gang and their stuff. I walked over to the door finally and opened it.
"Took you long enough." Jason said. I nodded. "I could have left you out there you know, don't be flattered." I said walking into the living room. I heard him laugh. I sat in the couch and turned on the t.v.
I was watching Awkward when Jason came in and changed it on me. "Excuse me?. I was watching that you know." I said. He handed me the remote but before i could grab it, he held it up in the air so i couldn't reach it. Im only 4'5 and he's like 5'5. So unfair. "Come on Jason. Give me the remote." I said. He smirked. "Hmmm, no." He said standing up still holding the remote up high. I sighed. Really? "Just give me the remote, and i wont hurt you." I said starting to get frustrated. He laughed. "Your gonna hurt me? Doubt it." He said. I finally gave up and knocked him off of his feet. He landed on the floor with a huge thud. I walked over him and grabbed the remote out of his hands. "Thanks" i said smirking and walking back to the couch. I sat down and everyone ran into the living room. "What the hell happened in here?" My dad asked while pointing to Jason on the floor. I laughed. "He wouldn't give me the remote so, i took it back" i said flipping through the channels. He helped Jason up and patted his back. "I warn you now, don't piss her off" My dad said laughing. All Jason did was glare at me and smirk. I winked at him and he looked away smirking. I might have some fun with him.
