chapter three

Royalty POV

*Ring*ring*ring*
I'm not really a morning person so being up this early on a Monday is a problem. Friday , the day I left school early, was the last day for seniors our graduation is on Friday.

My phone read 8:05 so I finally got the strength to get out of bed and start getting ready.

I brush my teeth, wash my face and go pick out something to wear for today. It was kinda hot outside so I wasn't about to do too much.

Finally deciding on my grey thrasher shirt, mid wash ripped jeans, all white Huaraches.

Once I made it to back to the bathroom I cut the shower on letting the mirror fog up and putting my hair into a quick bun.

Wasn't even in there for a good 20 minutes before I heard the door open and in came andré. "You could wait jeez" I playfully rolled my eyes while poking my head out of the shower.

André just rinsed his mouth out from brushing his teeth "are you ready for this" he came over by the shower "the real question is are you" I had to raise my voice a little over the running water.

"I mean not really but hey life happens, it's my fault anyways " "you got that right" I giggled and poked my head back out if the shower.

He walked over to me and grasped my little face into his hands and kissed me a couple time.

I was finally dressed, topping my outfit of with a hat because I wasn't about to do my hair and hoops. Grabbing my bag and keys I yelled while walking out the door "I'm leaving in five so hurry up"

Hopping into my G-WAGON x-17 online I looked at my phone and checked the time. It was already 9:47 and my appointment is at 10

"That's me" the nurse lead us back to the room and told me to lay down. When she caught a glimpse of andré she licked her crusty lips and gave a seductive smile like I wasn't right here.

"Um excuse me instead of looking at my man can you do your job" I waved her off like she was a fly. I must've got to her because she scoffed.

"obviously he don't mind me looking he ain't say nun" she said while rolling her neck. What's up with all this neck rolling.

"He ain't paying you no mind" I pointed over to andré who was scrolling through Instagram. "Now get out before I have to drag you out by your stiff ass weave."

She wore a scowl on her face and intimidation in her eyes I don't got time for these hoes. The doctor walked in with a smirk.

"I'm glad someone finally said something to that nurse she gets on my nerves" she said with a smile and a eyeroll. "I'm dr.raymund I'll be your Dr through this whole journey"

We shook hands and she told me to lay back "this'll be a little cold" as she lifted up my shirt and put the gel on I jumped. I never felt nothing like that before.

While she rubbed it around I noticed how pretty she was. She seemed to be about 5'5 brown skin, long curly Brazilian weave, and hazel eyes. She looked kinda like a Bratz doll.

"Well there they are right there, I'll snap some pictures" I was really amazed, they didn't really look like too much yet.

"So what are y'all hoping for" I looked over at andré. He was staring at the screen eyes wide like a little kid in a candy shop.

"A girl and a boy" we said in unison. The Dr laughed and went to get our pictures while I wiped the gel off.

"Babe, I'm scared" I said as I sat up and he put all his attention on me. "Why" "what if I'm not a good mom or what if they don't like me"

He grabbed both of my hands and looked me in the eyes" they'll love you and were gonna be the best parents ever" I started to smile.

We grabbed our pictures and left out to my car. "I want Panda Express" i said while pouting. He was driving now and I was on the passenger seat.

I had my panda Express bag in my hand as I skipped to the house door. Andre went home already. Opening the door I don't hear nobody.

"CHRIS" "OUTBACK" I walked behind the house and saw him, red, and Jamie in the pool. Red was like my brother and Jamie was his sister. She was cool.

"I'll be back" I was about to put my bakini on and eat outside with everybody else.

Imani managed to bump me on her way past "watch where you going hoe" she said. "Ain't nobody a hoe but you, over here fucking six niggas at the same time come on now."

She started to post up "I've been wanting to beat your ass for so long." I started laughing "who ass bout to get beat" "yours bitc-" she didn't even get to finish her sentence because I sent a left hook to her mouth.

I was punching the hell out of her when I felt hands grab me off her "Cut that shit out" red said while holding imani back and Chris was holding me back.

"IMANI what the fuck" Jamie yelled at the clueless girl. "So you taking her side Jamie " imani said in disbelief "yea royalty isn't the type of person to just start with someone just for fun you the messy one"

"You too Chris" " whatchu mean this ain't about me" I could tell Chris was getting angry. "you know what WHATEVER FUCK YOU CHRIS I WAS CHEATING ON YOU ANYWAYS" she yelled.

I looked up at Chris his face was red with anger but I could tell he was hurt. He let me go since he couldn't hit her. I dragged imani by her hair and down all 24 steps then outside down the drive way "get TF off our property."

She hurriedly got up holding what was left of her weave "this ain't over bitch." I waved her off and went to my room to change into my bakini.

When I got outside with my food they where playing around and singing along to the music like nothing happened.

Chris pulled me off to the side and grabbed my face. He examined the long scratch across my cheek "don't do that shit no more" he said without looking up from the scratch.

"She started with me" crossing my arms and trying to plead my case but he wasn't buying it. "I don't give a fuck what if you would've hurt your kids " he rubbed my stomach.

"This ain't about me no more are you okay" I grasped his face into my tiny hands looking into his eyes for a answer. "Im good".

I leaned in by his ear and whispered "you know you can't lie to me" with that I walked back to my food.

Watching as everyone had fun while in each other's company and that kinda made me happy.

We decided on having a movie night but everyone except for me and Jamie fell asleep.

"So what's your story" Jamie asked me out if the blue. "Well my favorite color is cyan, I like -" "no I mean what made you , you"

I took a deep breath knowing where this is heading "well i was born in Oakland, California my mom committed suicide when I was just a month old so I grew up with jallin, you know him as my dad but he isn't my biological father. We all thought he was until we found out five years back, when I was twelve my real dad didn't want me though I was so sad but when I asked why he said he didn't want me because Everytime he looked at me he saw my mom so I wasn't really mad anymore but through all that Chris has been through it all with me. He decided that he wanted to live in Atlanta so he packed everything up including me and left so we're here now" it was silent for a moment "what about you"

"Well my dad was a drug dealer at the top not everyone liked that. People had a hot out on him and he started slacking when he became strung out on drugs those people killed everyone except me and red. I was only 3 then and ever since I have been reds main priority, he's never left my side" I thought about our stories throughout the night and couldn't end up sleeping.

"Even if I'm not always here I know you'll protect each other" I said rubbing my stomach even though I know they aren't even formed enough to understand it still made me feel better.

I hope I'll always be there I thought with a sigh.
