chapter seventeen

I woke up with a headache to the sound of knocking on the door I thought I could just wait until they went away but they just knocked louder. I know one thing if they wake my babies up it's gone be a problem. As I got up I made sure to check on the twins on my way to the door and they were still out like little lights. I swung the door open "what" I yelled annoyed.

"why didn't you just use your key damn" I sat on the sofa rubbing my temples trying to get rid of my headache. "I wanted to talk" Rico said as he closed the door behind him. "about what" I said looking up at him. "what the hell happened to your face" he rushed over to me taking my face into his hands. "nothing" I said not looking in his eyes. "who hurt you royalty" he asked me again. "why" "because I need to know that your okay"

"i'm fine Rico okay" I told him. He grabbed me by my waist and made me look up at him. "your not okay" he nsaid staring at her deeply. He leaned down and tried to kiss me but I pulled away "friends don't do that" I said leaning away from him. "I can't be friends with you royalty" He said. "then don't" I replied back, he took one last look at me and then left.

Just as I sat down I heard my phone ringing. "hey lucas" I answered, "hey royalty, what you doing" he asked. "about to start making breakfast" I said getting out some bacon and pancake mix. "oh word you gone make me a plate" he said causing me to laugh. "oh your serious" I asked. "yeah ma drop your adress" he said laughing. After I gave him my adress he said he'll be over in 10.

I made pancakes, bacon, eggs, and a side of hasbrowns because those are kens favorite. I went ahead and made myself a plate and the twins just in case they wake up. It was going on 9:20 already when I heard the door bell which woke up kay. "It's open lucas" I yelled while picking Kay out of her crib before she woke up ken. "hey mama you hungry" I asked her causing her to show her two little teeth.

Sitting kay in her booster chair and passing her her plate I turned around to go greet lucas. "hey" I said giving him a friendly hug. "the food is over there" I said while putting apple juice in a sippy cup. As I watched lucas take his jacket off and make himself a plate I noticed how cute he was. He had a tall figure, his lips were full and pink, his complexion was light and his skin was clear, and he had a full head of pretty curls.

"how tall are you lucas" I asked while eating my food. "i'm 6'2" he chuckled, "I was just asking because I didn't realize you were this tall" I said.

We washed the dishes togeher and learned alot of things about each other the twins played around with him and everything. I don't know why but I just met him and I feel like I can just talk to him, I told him everything about the whole baby father situation then he left.

I forgot how lonely it is not having Jamie and Rico around 24/7. I decided I should apologize about the other night and talk things through with Jamie.

Jamie answered on the second ring "Jamie" I said when I heard she picked up. "Yeah" she replied, "I'm sorry Jamie I was just hurt and I wanted to be alone" I told her straight up. "I can be pushy sometimes I already know what happened and I definitely won't tell Rico" she said. "Wait what, you do" I asked curiously.

"You went to go meet up with andré you came back bruised up, I found out he's strung out on drugs after our little fight and you don't have to talk to me about it if you don't want to but I'm so sorry" she said. "Look let's just plan this party and forget about it and look my face is a little better" I told her turning our call into FaceTime.

We settled on a circus themed party for the twins. All I could hear was Jamie snoring on the other line so I hung up and her crazy ass called back. "Bitch don't be hanging the phone up on me" she said rolling her neck. "Your dumb ass was sleep" I retorted. "Okay and I need sleep we got a party to plan in two days" she said. "Girl shut up and go to sleep" and with that I hung up.
