I sat on the sofa as the sun started to shine through the closed curtains in the living room. I didn't even bother trying to get any sleep. Looking over I see Jamie and Rico sleeping peacefully, so I took this as my opportunity to try and take some time to myself.
I picked up my phone and called an uber to pick me up to take me home, feeling irritated with the silence and light snores throughout the house I waited outside. Fifteen minutes later I find myself in the back of an SUV going down the highway.
There were maybe six boxes by my front door from IKEA. It's been awhile since I've been in my bedroom and it still looks exactly the same from when I left it. Feeling a tear drop thinking about some of the things that last took place in this bedroom.
Sighing I get start trying to push the boxes into my house on my own because at the moment I don't want to be bothered with anybody else. I decided a change would be nice in my bedroom, so I started to rearrange things.

It's way more girly than before now that i'm by myself. After all of that it was still only 9 in the morning so I decided that i would go sit out by the pool. Grabbing my wine glass and some chardonnay out of the bar fridge I poor a glass and stare off into space.
A couple glasses later I find myself on the floor of Kay's empty nursery. Things in my life right now aren't taking a turn for the better, but I have to keep a smile on my face for my kids. The thought of them alone made me miss them so much.
I decided that it's been long enough, I need to see my babies. Hopping into my car that I missed so much, even though its only been two days, I drive to ma dukes house.
I pull up to the warm home that I knew too well and ring the doorbell. "hey baby" she said giving me a tight hug "you here early" she said letting me go. "I missed my babies" I said with a playful pout. "you coming to the get together at the restaurant" she said giving me a look.
Not really paying much attention I go to where I saw the twins sleeping. "I forgot about it but yeah i'm going, I don't have a choice really" I said "hi baby girl you missed mommy" I cooed at Kay. "what do you mean" ma said "we both know Jamie would come and drag me out of the house if i tried to stay home" I said chuckling while giving Ken kissed on his cheeks.
