chapter twelve

Royalty POV

I sat in the car quietly waiting for Rico to come back so we can leave this horrible place. "Royalty what happened" Jamie asked worriedly but I didn't answer "please say something" she said as Rico got back in the car "did he-" he started to say, looking straight ahead, but i quickly cut him off "no i'm fine' I said quietly looking out of the window. 

"fine. look at you royalty, look at your clothes, look at your face" she said referring to the big bruise on my cheek from the blow to the face earlier. "baby you can't stay in her no more you gotta go stay with" she stopped because she knew that I didn't want to talk about Chris.

"I'll be fine i can just go to another hotel, or stay with red" I said causing Jamie to give me a look. We both knew I couldn't go to another hotel after what happened and I most definitely couldn't stay with red with him being in the drug empire, I didn't want anything to happen. Couldn't stay with Rico or Jamie either because they both lived in on campus houses, so even if i did go spend the night I could get them in some big trouble.

"you know she's right, right?" Rico said while grabbing my thigh to get my attention causing me to flinch a little. Once I looked over he met my eyes and stared at me for awhile. "green light" I finally said looking away.

After awhile Rico pulled up to Chris' house "do I have to" I finally said after Jamie got out with the twins and took them inside. He grabbed my head giving me a long kiss on the forehead "yea, you'll be safe here" right before I got out he pulled me back in giving me his jacket. I completely forgot that I was halfway naked with only a ripped robe on. "tell Jamie I'll be back later" "where are you going" I said quickly "To go get your bags and I gotta take care of something."

It took me awhile to build up the courage to go into the house but I finally did and there I was met with Chris playing in Kay's hair and Jamie on the sofa with an apologetic look. Chris got one look at me and instantly started asking questions "what happened" He said trying to hug me but I backed away causing him to give me an confused look.

Jamie took the twins upstairs into my old room. "come here" he said causing me to back away more. I don't know hwy but I just didn't feel safe being touched by him. I didn't want anyone to touch me but Rico, Jamie and my kids. I ran up the stairs into my room locking the door behind me. "come here" I said to Kay who looked as if she was about to cry. I took them both and just hugged them as tight as i could then I hugged Jamie.

"Rico said he'll be back to pick you up" "oh okay well we need to finish our essays" she said referring to the essay we had to write in our English class. 

Rico POV

I pulled right into reds condo and opened the door with my key "wassup I ain't seen you in awhile college boy" He said while dapping me up "I need a favor" I said to him before breaking everything that happened today. "damn" Red said with anger in his eyes. We where all close and royalty was like another sister to him so me telling him that only made him want to kill.

"what you wanna do" he asked ready to take on a plan of revenge. "I got a friend to find him while I was taking royalty to Chris' they fount him and took him to you trap I just needed the say so from you so they could put him in the basement" He immediately called up his boys and hopped in my car and rove to the trap,

Pulling up to a abandoned brick building, red got out and put the code in dapping everyone up in the front room on his way to the basement. When I walked past I got seductive smiles from some half naked girls in the corner snorting crack. Shaking my head I made my way down the metal stairs.

There he was hanging from a chain unconscious with a bloody nose and black eye. Red threw cold water from a bucket on him, causing  him to jump."wake yo pussy ass up" Red yelled. "Look i got shit to do so we gone play a quick game, you answer my questions and if you answer wrong you die, if you lie you die, if you take to long- well i'm pretty sure you get it now.

"what was the point of doing that, you ain't even know her" "but I did" he said "

explain" I said pulling up a chair waiting to hear this story. "Andre James" he said with so much hate in his voice "I hate this nigga with a passion but word on the street was he did pretty girl wrong and she left his ass and how was he coping, by crying, getting drunk, and fucking MY girl. He took something I loved so I was gonna do the same. That nigga was always going on about how good her pussy was so I thought I'd give it a try" 

Hearing enough I get out of the chair "I appreciate you being honest but unfortunately that cost you your life but I'll make you a deal, you can either die now quick and easy or slow and painful your choice." I said ready to go get this over with. Once he didn't say nothing I got a really good idea " I got something for you" I said and with that we all left to go back home.

I got all royalty bags and took them back already and currently went back in to say my goodbyes "you'll be fine I promise" I told her interlocking her pinkie with mine. "goodnight love you" I finally said kissing them all and going back in the car to Jamie who was already asleep in the passengers side.

I carried Jamie and put her in her room since we shared an on campus house and took my shirt and shoes off letting sleep finally take over my body.

Royalty POV

I ran a warm bubble bath with lots of bubbles in my old bathroom and put me and both the twins in and washed up. After drying them both of a putting on their pajamas they where both knocked out. I put them in the middle of my bed with pillows around them then got my self dressed for bed.

Outside it started to pour down rain which made me kind of scared. I tried to sleep but all I could think about was the man on top of me hitting me trying to force himself into me and keep me from squirming. He put his fingers into me as I screamed out in pain he just laughed and pinned me down harder picking me up and slamming me back down onto the ground multiple times. I snapped out of my flashed back when loud thunder sounded throughout the house scaring me. 

I was surprised that the twins slept through that. I got a blanket and put it on top of them and took an extra blanket and pillow with me walking down the hall and knocking softly on the door. No answer. So I turned the door knob and walked in when it opened. I crawled carefully into Chris'bed.

Once I laid down for a minute he rolled over and whispered in my ear "I wasn't sleep" I didn't say anything "are you okay now" I still din't say anything until he wrapped his arm around me pulling me close. 

I felt so safe and it felt like I could finally sleep now "yes" I whispered falling asleep in his arms.
