Lucy POV
I did the only sensible thing in my situation. I screamed. The man's eyes widened and he began to speak
"Princess, princess calm down, geez I'm not her to hurt you. My sons already done plenty of that," I stopped screaming it was the second time he had called me princess... wait did he just say son. I looked up at the man flabbergasted.
"Did you just say son?" I asked timidly.
"Yes I did Princess. My names Igneel, maybe you've heard of me,"
I nodded slowly.
"What are you doing here, Natsu has been looking for you fr years, your his family how could you abandon him," I practically yelled. Natsu may have mistreated me, but he doesn't deserve this.
"Wasn't Natsu your family, wasn't it he who brought you to Fairy Tail, then betray you. Take away the only family you believed you had left,"
I hesitated before answering.
"Your right Igneel. Natsu did bring me to Fairy Tail. He included me in his family and made me feel loved," I paused before counting, "Natsu hurt me like no other could, but he taught me that broken glass could be fixed again with love, and for that I will be forever grateful,"
Igneel smiled at me.
"I have an offer for you," He said, "Come with me, I can reveal things about you that you didn't know. I can return you to family and help you become more powerful than you could imagine, then return to prove to Fairy Tail that you aren't weak and are most definitely not pathetic."
I looked up to meet his eyes, to leave, just for a while would be amazing. Before I could overthink things I replied,
"I'm in,"
"Wonderful," Igneel replied before clicking his fingers and transporting us to my apartment. I looked at him.
"How did you do that, teleporting requires large amounts of energy?" I asked
Igneel Laughed,
"I'm a dragon kiddo, my magic surpasses every human alive," he replies
"About that, why do you look human?" I ask again confused.
"What do you think humans would do if they saw a dragon walking their streets?"
"Probably freak," I answered.
I looked out the window and stared at the people of Magnolia going on with their daily business.
"How long until we leave,?" I asked.
"Whenever your ready princess,"
I nodded, and summoned Lokki and Virgo.
"Virgo can you pack my clothes," I demanded.
"Yes Princess, after that, may I be punished," Virgo said holding a whip. I groaned.
"Lokki can you please find Wendy for me and tell her I'm sorry," I looked up at him sadly as I said it.
"Of course," Lokki didn't even bother being flirty.
"I will return to you when you are finished," said Igneel.
I sat down at my desk and pulled out a piece of parchment and a pen, and began to write 4 letters. One to the guild, one for team Natsu, one for Wendy and one for Natsu alone. By the time I was done my face as went with tears and some of the ink was smudged. I signed them all and put them in a bag.
It was time to head for Fairy Tail for the last time. When I entered the guild it was almost empty, I snuck up to Master Makarov's office, placed the letters on his desk and looked around one last time.
"Goodbye, I love you all,"
