Forgotten Princess

Chapter 2

Lucy's POV

I waited for impact, but it never came. I opened my eyes and looked in Natsu's, I couldn't describe what I saw. Was it fear, regret he looked at me like he used to, before Lisana returned, but whatever I saw left his eyes as quickly as it came and Natsu screamed in my face,
"Why would you attack Lisanna'"
His fist suddenly made impact into my stomach. I doubled over in pain. Another guild member came up to me and hit me. I thought I could hear Wendy screaming at them to stop but I wasn't sure. Everything was blurry and my body felt numb with pain.

I thought I was going to die, I wish I did. Everything would have been incredibly easier. No one would miss me, no one would care. Then I felt the heat only fire could create. I was being burnt, soon enough more magic was throne my way. I opened my eyes and begged,
"Stop, please. I didn't touch Lisana, why would I?".
Nasty crouched down to my eye level.
"And why should I believe a pathetic, useless bitch like you. You were jealous of Lisana from the start," he replied. The last thing I saw was fire dancing in my vision, taunting me like a resurrected demon. Everything went black.

I awoke in bed, bandaged and healed. Wendy came rushing in,
"Oh thank god Lucy your awake, I was scared my magic wouldn't be enough to help you," Wendy said as she tackled me into her arms. I hugged her back.
"It's alright Wendy, I'm fine thanks to you,"
I looked out my window towards the streets, it was dark out. I looked towards the young girl,
"Wendy how long have I been out for?" I asked. Wendy looked worried,
"2 days Lucy," she replied.
2 days, had it really been that long.
"Ummm Lucy, Lisana retired to the build today. She looked like she had been attacked by a whip and an axe. She claimed that you and Taurus dragged her into an allay and beat her," Wendy said carefully.
I gasped, beaten, whipped. I can't believe she would lie to the guild like that. What hurt most though was the fact that they believed her. That they believed I would hurt a Conrad for sport. I thought they new me better then that, I thought Natsu knew better then that. I guess I was wrong.

I looked to Wendy and smiled sadly.
"It's alright," I said "I'll get over it, what's important to me is that you know I would never hurt Lissana,"
"I know you wouldn't," replied Wendy.
For now knowing that I had Wendy was enough for me.

So, that chapter took a turn for the worse. I do kinda feel bad for Lisanna though, like she came back and most of the fandom hate her cause of her past with Natsu and I'm just like yeah exactly her past with him not his future and not his present that's all Lucy.
