Lucy POV

Igneel came to a sudden stop,

"We're here,"

We had been walking for hours to find a portal to take us to well, I'm not really sure where but Igneel said it was the only path to his homeland. Igneel then began to chant in a foreign language. A magic circle started to appear and began to grow until it was large enough to fit a dragon.

"This way princess," Igneel said his arms motioning towards the magic circle. I really need to ask about the whole princess thing.

"Why do you keep calling me princess?"

"Everything will be explained shshortly, butor now we are running late, Grandeena is going to give me hell if I make us any later, into the portal with you,"

I nodded, and started to walk towards the portal, as I entered I closed my eyes just before a bright light engulfed me.

I could feel a breeze, my eyes fluttered open to my surroundings. A valley of grass was around. The sun had started to rise behind what I think are mountains with fire around them were in the distance for miles. It was beautiful.

"Where are we" I said astounded.

"Welcome to the land of the dragons," Said Igneel, is arms open, gesturing to the space around me.

"It's beautiful," I said after a moment. Igneel did a 360 turn and then pointed into the distance where I could see what looked to be a large building.

"This way to the palace princess,"

"Palace, you mean like a palace with kings and queens. When was a palace ever mentioned?" I asked shocked. Igneel just laughed and started to walk in the direction he had been pointing in.

"Hey, wait up," I called after him running.

After about 10 minuets of walking I turned towards the dragon.

"Igneel if you're a dragon why can't we just fly?" I asked. Igneel paused and turned towards me blinking.

"Right I'm a dragon I can fly, oops,"

Igneel closed his eyes and a ring of fire rose up around him, blocking my view. A roar could be heard from inside the fire and when it dispersed a red dragon with spikes running down his back and long horns protruding from his head could be seen in the place of a human.

"Climb on," Igneel said, placing one of his leathery wings on the ground.

I climbed up the wing onto Igneel's back and grabbing onto the spikes for support. I didn't leave Magnolia only to die falling of a dragon.

His strong wings started to move and soon enough we were in the air and flying into the sunrise.

Upon arriving at what looked to be gates Igneel slowed before landing. I slid off his back trying to be somewhat graceful. When I was no longer on his back the dragon transformed back into his human form. The gate suddenly creaked open and guards nodded towards us letting us enter. It wasn't long before a beautiful woman with pink hair pulled into a simple bun rushed towards us.

"Igneel have you seen the time, you're late. Your task was simple find the princess and bring her here safely," She ranted.

"Calm down Grandeena. We're here now and the princess is safe."

Grandeena as in Wendy dragon, does that mean all the missing dragons are here. And why was I still being referred to as princess.

"Come now the Queen is waiting, the princess must be confused and we have a new battle strategy" Said Grandeena walking off, heading towards the castle. Battle strategy what did the mean, was there about to be a war.

As we neared the entrance guards walked up to us and started whispering frantically with two dragons. Their faces now included with worry turned to look at me.

"We have to get inside now," Said one of the guards. He grabbed my arm and started to drag me towards the castle.

"Let go. Let me go!" I screamed at him.

"There's no time to argue princess, the palace is about to be attacked,"

Attacked, at least I now know there's a war. Fun times, maybe I should have stayed at Fairy Tail.

We ran taking twists and turns every few minutes until we came across a large door that seemed to be made of gold. It shimmered in the light and then the guard who still needed to be named spoke.

"Heart as brave as a dragon," The door slowly opened, revealing a large area with a glass ceiling, a long table and at the head of the table was a throne.

The throne wasn't empty, a woman sat in it. Long blonde hair, pale skin and brown eyes that seemed to hold 100 shades. Upon her head sat a crown of gold and jewels.

"Welcome home daughter," Said the woman. A smile adorned her face.

"Mum,"
