michael walks to the library for third period, them having a spare. they like having a spare period to do homework and chill, and the school library is their preferred place to spend the time. they glance at their locker on the way, surprised to see a ziploc bag hanging on the front. except for one other day, the clear baggie had been on their locker before school started.
they take a detour on the way to the library and walk up to their locker, pulling the bag down. the pastel yellow heart says "my boy" on it, and michael shakes their head. they don't mind being misgendered in this situation, as there aren't conversation hearts that go beyond the gender binary. they pocket the candy and go back on the path to the library, advanced functions homework calling their name.
