TWO DAYS LATER……
AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!
The camp wakes up again to find bloody carcus’ of several animals all over camp and they were hung inside 3 cabins over the beds of several campers and doorways of others. Michael came running with Jackie and Marlon. Sharon’s cabin was one that had been violated. Michelle had the carcus over her bed and Christopher had one hung in his doorway to the cabin. They had put 6 all around the camp too. The children were scared and Michael was so mad and hurt that someone would do this to them. To the children. Not far from the bathrooms by the lake were three sticks with 3 human heads on them.
Michael; I need Sheriff Smith immediately to Camp Crystal Lake. We had another attack last night and this one was far worse.
Voice on phone; I’ll send him immediately. Michael hung up.
Michael looked at his counselors and some of the campers were crying. This tore at his heart. He had to end this some how for his campers. Looking out he caught sight of April and saw she was shaken up but okay. This did bring him some comfort. A soft smile touches his lips. She looks down. Tito saw this. He inched closer to her.
Michael; Guys. Take everyone over to the campfire area. I’m going to have a barbecue today for everyone and we will have fun and games over there today. Turning to Jackie, whispering in his ears. He nods then runs off to the mess hall.
The counselors head towards the cabins grab some stuff and all head to the camfire area. They were going to make it as fun as they could for the campers. Anything to take their minds off of what they all woke up to this morning.
Within an hour they had a campfire style breakfast for everyone then the counselors made the morning go by fast. They played charades and did skits and name that tune. They played eye spy and did name that show. Michael asked if April would help him with putting together a huge twister board for the children to play on and and then help him set up a sort of watch parimeter guide line for the children so they could control the area and no one wonder off or get lost. Michael asked her if she minded setting up sack races and three legged races with him for the children. They worked side by side getting this stuff set up and ready for the children. Behind some bushes where the perimeter boarder would be coming around Michael looked at April. His heart raced and he licked his lips. Michael couldn’t take it.
Michael; April? They were only inches apart.
April; Yes? Looking at him. staring at his lips and then him again.
Michael: I – I umm.. he kisses her softly and slowly. Michael pulls her to him and holds her against his body. She could feel him getting hard against her. But she loved how his lips felt kissing her.
April; softly moaned and held him to her. Forgetting herself for a moment. Michael was making her feel so good. He was kissing her so lovingly and holding her so tenderly. As they start to pull apart. April stops him. Michael I can’t. I . It’s not you.. Please, please leave me alone.. I won’t be hurt again. I’m sorry.. she pulls out of his arms and leaves fast. April didn’t dare look back at him. She knew if she saw his face right now. She was done for.
Michael; Watched her go. But April…I love you….he said softly. I love you. Blinking his eyes to keep the tears from falling. He looks down and then finishes the perimeter line. Returning back to camp 10 mins later.
Tito and Jackie saw Apri’s face when she first returned as if trying not to cry. It was flushed and then they saw Michael a few minutes later looking like he too was trying not to cry. They looked at each other and knew something happened and it wasn’t good. Tito and Jackie knew they loved each other now. Marlon joined them and watched both Michael and April. They knew that these two loved each other and wanted each other. It is too bad that they couldn’t find a way to be together. It was obvious that they belonged together. Watching some of the other counselors they could see it too, and were shaking their heads. Turning their attention back to the campers and the games. It was a huge game of twister going on and the campers and counselors were all twisted up. Everyone was laughing. While the cooks were making lunches for everyone. The counselors kept the campers near and them occupied with things to do. Michael started to feel a bit better seeing all the children laugh again and having fun. When he glanced up and caught Sheriff Smith with an assistant standing there just out of view of most of the campers. Michael casually walked over there.
Sheriff Smith; in low tones. We got everything cleaned up and most everyone has gone Mr. Jackson;
Michael; Please call me Michael; I’m grateful thank you. Do you think this is the work of the same man or men or??
Assistant Brooks: We think it’s a man or group of men. Do you know anyone who would want to force you out? Make you leave? Anyone threaten you?
Michael: Frowning What? NO!! I have only owned the propertay 15 months not possible. This is our first summer.
Sheriff Smith: Looks at his assistant like moron. I think whatever it is doing this is just randomly doing it. Maybe it’s his or it’s home, domain or something? Anyway the forestry department is going to put a guard tower here on the property tomorrow and then someone will be here all the time starting the day after tomorrow Friday at the latest which is in 4 days. So. We will get to the bottom of this.
Michael; Thank you. We appreciate this. We can’t keep traping the campers or preventing them from the pools or the lake it’s part of the camp experience. I know some are really scared and I’m afraid it won’t be long and some will want to go home. If this gets out, this camp which is a positive thing for the children will be finished before it starts.
Sheriff Smith; I know Michael. I’m really sorry about that. We are doing our best. Please let us know immediately if anything else happens, Big or small. One can never tell with all this going on.
Michael; I will I promise. Half smiling. Shaking their hands and returning back to the campers to help serve lunch to them
The counselors kept the campers busy the rest of the day and the cooks had barbecued chicken and potato salad with corn on the cob for dinner. Then they went by cabins to brush teeth and grab sleeping bags. They were going to have an old west camp out by a camp fire. The campers really loved that idea and cheered
