AT THE HOSPITAL…..
Michael; holding April’s hand. Baby, I love you so. Kissing her softly. I wish I could take the pain away from you. Resting his hand on her shoulder. April continued to sleep as they gave her something for pain and it made her groggy and she fell asleep.
Jackie, Marlon, Tito, Sharon and Dina all walked into the room about 4 am. Michael had fallen asleep with his head on her chest. Walking over to Michael Jackie taps him on the shoulder.
Jackie; Michael. He whispers. Hey. Michael. How is she? Bending to iss April’s cheek.
Michael; stirs a bit and starts to wake. Opening his eyes he says, what time is it?
Marlon: About 4 am.
Michael: I must have fallen asleep for a few minutes. Looking at April. She looks so peaceful. My babies poor face. That son of whore beat her bad. Tears fell down his cheeks.
Jackie; Yes, but Michael. She’s alive and we have her back. The children are okay and asking for her. Everyone is concerned.
Sharon; We love you both and are worried for you both.
Dina; April will be okay. You just need to have faith.
Michael; I – I know. He raped her and made the girls watch!! He made them watch at gun point!! Crying.
Tito; I know cuz. I got that bastard good. Should have let me kill him but they stopped me before I could.
Marlon; We are here for you both. Janet and Latoya send their love.
Michael; Thank you. Tries to smile and it’s only half grin.
April; I love you guys too. She opens her eyes slowly. Starts to cry. I’m sorry. I couldn’t stop him from raping me. I tried. I tried Michael I understand if you don’t want a dirty slut… she turns away. Crying

April; It’s my fault!! I took them on the trails instead of coming back down the way we were supposed to!! I let them talk me into going a way I had never been and they paid for it!! They paid for it!!! Crying harder.
Michael; The campers. The girls are okay all of them and they are back at camp. They were saved because of you. You got them to shelter. You. I love you. They love you. Please baby, don’t pull away from me. I don’t want to lose you. I want to be with you always. kissing April softly.
April: Looking at Michael and the others. I-I love you all too. She reaches for Michael and he holds her.
They all talk a while then everyone leaves and says they had to get back to camp as the campers will be up soon. Their friends kiss April’s cheek and pat Michael’s shoulders. Love you both the say and then leave.
Michael climbs up in the bed with April and holds her in his arms. The doctor comes in later in the morning and tells April she can go home in another day. They want to make sure that her head is okay and that she is physically able to stand and handle it. Michael told April he wasn’t leaving her side and that he loved her. Then he said he had a surprise for her.
April: A surprise? Here? How?
Michael; Oh, you’ll see. Smiling.
April; smiling. I will huh?
An hour later the room was full of people campers and counselors a like it was standing room only. Latoya was giggling told April to close her eyes,
April; O-Okay!! Omg!! How did you all get here? Smiling. She closes her eyes and felt something being put on her. And heard noises. Latoya told her keep her eyes closed.
Michael; giggles. Almost. Just wait a few minutes more. Michael was hurrying to put his tux on.
Janet: finishing the bouquet. We are just about ready.
April; Could hear giggling from the campers and awwww’s too.
Latoya; No peeking!! Giggles.
Michael; Okay. Open them. Michael had a small box with an engagement ring in it. April Parker. Will you marry me? Be my wife. I love you and I don’t want to spean another second apart from you.
April’ she was so moved. Yes! Yes Michael. I love you! I want to marry!! .kissing him softly. Michael places the ring on her finger and the room cheers.
The hospital chaplin who does have the authority to marry couples legally walks over to them. Janet hands her the bouquet. Smiling and winking at both.
Chaplin Patterson. Ready.
Michael looks at April; Baby? Ready?
April; Omg..You are amazing and incredible and I love you Yes! I am.
Chaplin; Dearly beloved. We are gathered in in the sight of god and their closest friends to join in holy matrimony, Michael Joseph Jackson and April Parker. They come before you now as one. One love, One heart. One life. Who gives this woman to this man?
Jackie; I do. Smiling.
Chaplin; Michael and April in their short time together have found that they each are only half of a whole but with their love and hearts they make a whole. Chaplin; Ladies and gentlemen; Mr. and Mrs. Michael Joseph Jackson.
The room claps and cheers and April tosses the bouquet. Cassandra Ackers from cabin 8 caught it. The room laughed and each congratulated the newlyweds and then they left them in privacy and headed back to camp. Michael and April were alone again as man and wife. Michael was beaming he was so happy and April was glowing. She married the man who made her feel whole again. Who loved her with his whole heart and unconditionally. April loved and cherished this loving man. Now, he was really all hers forever. Michael layed up in the bed with her and they cuddled and kissed and Michael made sure April rested and did all she had to to be released in the morning.
