Chapter 30: Nervous of seeing him

It's been fifteen minutes since you've been waiting for someone to arrive at your house including his family. As you close your eyes, you remembered that one time you asked Luigi whether he can go to your house today and he agreed so that means.... He's coming to your house today!! You suddendly got shocked and blushed when you notice, you just wanted to see him but you seemed like you're not even ready to say hi or talk to him, you just walk around in circles trying to tell yourself to calm down because of his parents are coming over too. You can feel your heart starting to pound really fast because you had a anxiety attack, it's like you had no confidence or courage to talk or chat with Luigi because he's popular and handsome which that's what you thought about him. You kept walking into circles in your room but faster from the more you get intense so you decided to stopped and take a deep breath, 'Okay okay Y/N just calm down and be strong and confidence, don't get too nervous when he's around just be calm and you're going to be okay because I know you like him but you're not ready to confess him yet so just calm down,' You thought as you keep breathe in and out to calm yourself down. You felt like your heart on the inside shows that you're not even ready to see him but on the outside you're looking confident and brave. So you then sat on the floor beside your bed and then take a book out to read eating for Luigi and his family to arrive at your house.

"Hey sweetie, you okay?" The voice said again which it makes you jumped, you always get scared when someone called you without even knocking your door which it kinda makes you annoyed or upset because it happens to you everytime non stop. You sigh and then look at the person who's at the doorway which it was your mother with an apron because she's now cooking lunch for you and Luigi's family including Mario of course. "Yeah mom I'm fine, what makes you said that?" you asked as you don't want your mom to get worried from what happened just now. Your mom sigh and then she sat beside you patting your head like as if she treated you like a little child. You slightly pout from what she do to you, you sometimes act like a little child which it makes your mom laugh but this time you gently pout in front of her showing her that you're not a kid anymore which makes her chuckle a bit.

"I notice that you're too nervous of seeing the family, are you scared to see them?" Your mom asked as she's concerned. You decided to lie so you shake your head and then blush, "Uh... n-no I wasn't, just uh...a little warm up," you said as your sweats are drooling down on your face. Your mom wipes your sweat away, "I know you're too nervous and shy to see them but just remember to behave yourself and respect to them okay?" she said as she pat your head even more, you pout and then sigh because you've been acting like a child when she does that, "Okay mom, I'm promise now please also knock the door before you come in, you've been doing this every single day," you said as you try not to be rude to your mother. "Okay sweetie I will," she said as she left the room. You sigh and then you lie on the bed trying to make yourself confident instead of being shy and awkward, you nearly had a crush on him when you first met him but you can't confess him now, it's too early. So you waiting for the time comes until the doorbell rang.
