(your name) jolted awake at sudden noises; people's voices. She could hear at least five voices, and two of which seemed to be arguing over an unknown something. (your name) picked up her phone from the desk and, after checking the time (1:43 pm), crept to where the voices were coming from, preparing to call the police if need be. The voices were coming from her bedroom, where she assumed the robbers, or whatever they were, broke in. She crept up to the door, to find it wide open, with no one in there but her new-found kittens. Then, something that should most definitely be impossible to accomplish, the cats spoke.

"Earl Trancy, my Young Master did not order me to cheat in any way. We were evenly matched," the voice of Sebastian explained.

"You could've ordered him to lie if you said that, though!"

"You dim-wit, I did nothing of the sor-"

"Ciel? Alois?" (your name) interrupted, causing all the cats, not just the two in question, to turn around suddenly and look at you.

"Oh, well done you two, you woke her up," said Undertaker, not even the slightest hint of humour in his voice, which was slightly unnerving, considering he spent most of his time laughing at some joke Sebastian had made.

"I didn't do anything! It was all Trancy's fault!" Ciel cried out indignantly, huffing slightly towards the end of the sentence.

"Oh, like you wish!" Alois argued back, eyes filled with angry fire.

"Oh, yeah? Well-"

"Is (your name) alright? She looks ever so pale?" Claude asked, causing the others to take in her appearance: her skin was paler than usual, even with her being sick, and there was cool breads of sweat running down her face. She spluttered: "How?! H-how are y-you guys talking? You're cats!"

"You can hear us?" Sebastian asked.

"No, I was just bluffing. Of course I can, why would I be asking?" (your name) cried out sarcastically. She began breathing heavily from shock and trying to fight back the prospect of vomiting all over her carpet, she sat down on the edge of her bed, on which the cats jumped up onto.

"HOW are you guys talking?!" she demanded, still heaving and wishing she brought her puke bowl with her.

"We could always talk, you just only hear us now. About time, too, how do you think you'll get away with ignoring me?" Alois asked, aiming to thrust his chest out proudly, but instead, he made himself look and sound even more arrogant than he already was.

"I wasn't ignoring you, you would only miaow and hiss!"

"Alright, alright settle down," Ciel broke up the fight by speaking, "I have no idea why we're cats, and especially why we're suddenly able to talk now, of all times, but (your name) is sick, so knock it off, Trancy!" Ciel finished sternly. Alois shrunk back at the surprising tone of authority in Ciel's voice.

"Thank you, Ciel," you said gratefully, "Now, tell me everything. Why the Hell are you cats?!" (your name) exclaimed that last part rather loudly, causing Grell to flinch and his tail puff up. He looked reproachfully at (your name), silently wishing for her to not shout so loudly, and often.

"I was doing paperwork in my office when I called Sebastian. I started getting curious as to why he wouldn't come when suddenly, I see myself shrinking into a cat and blacking out," replied Ciel in a bored, yet curious, tone of voice. Alois said it was the same for him, but obviously he was calling for Claude instead of Sebastian.

"I was dusting the bookshelves in the upstairs library when I felt a rather perculiar sensation, of which I had never experienced, me being a demon. Then suddenly I'm much smaller than I usually am and I also blacked out," Sebastian explained, Claude nodding his head to show that it was the same for him too.

"I had just finished reaping my last soul of the day when I was a magnificently beautiful cat and in a box!" Grell exclaimed, winking.

"I was making one of my 'guests' beautiful again, then I was on the ground with paws instead of hands, and then in a box," Undertaker giggled at the word 'guest', referring to some other person who had died. (your name) thought long and hard, turning it all over in her mind, until she started feeling sick at the thoughts mulling around in her brain, and ran to the living room, where she threw up into the vomit bowl. She picked up the bowl and went to her bedroom, where she reclaimed her spot on the bed and pretending as though nothing happened.

"Yeah, I have no idea why you are cats, let alone in the 21st Century-"

"Wait, 21st?! The Hell?!" Alois exclaimed.

"We're two hundred years into the future?" Undertaker asked, mildly interested in the whole situation.

"Yeah," you deadpanned.

"So, wait, where are we and who is the Queen?" Ciel asked.

"London and Queen Elizabeth 2nd."

"Woah, that's the name of your fiancée, Ciel!" Alois exclaimed, jumping up and down on the bed for no apparent reason. Ciel rolled his eyes and muttered: "No s***, Trancy."

"Alright, let's go over the evidence!" Prince Soma Asman Kadar, or just Soma, cried out, sitting next to his servant, Agni, on one of the many sofas in the room. In said room, there was Elizabeth, Snake, Mey-Rin, Bard, Finny and the two Indians mentioned before.

Finny looked down at the sheet of paper in his hands and read from it: "Both of the Earls, Trancy and Phantomhive, had been feeling not themselves as of late, and their same goes for their personal butlers, Claude Faustus of the Trancy manor and Sebastian Michaelis of the Phantomhive manor. The servants at the Trancy manor have given us evidence of their master's and his butler acting unusually. The undertaker in London has also been having the same symptoms, but no further information has been given. An ex-butler by the name of Grell Sutcliff has also been receiving the same symptoms as those above, but no further information was given as to the fact that he is no longer in contact with anyone."

Bard, impressed that the young boy could say all that, gave Finny a reassuring pat on the back and Mey-Ron smiled encouragingly at him. Finny smiled happily.

"This is all very odd," Agni pondered, his bandages hand stroking his chin, indicating he is thinking. Elizabeth nodded her head frantically, agreeing with him.

"I've  noticed that Master Ciel has only been speaking French as of late, yes he has.  Especially towards Mr. Sebastian," Mey-Rin pointed out.

"'I don't know if that has any correlation' said Emily," Snake spoke for one of his snakes, Emily. Said snake curled herself around Snake's neck and nestled on top of his head, where she raised her head, waiting for more information. Elizabeth gave an uncertain look at the thick boa constrictor named Wilde, who was sitting in Snake's lap, instead of his usual perch around his neck, and was staring at her. "'He won't bite' says Oscar," Snake changed his voice, this time speaking for an albino snake that was curled around his arm closest to Wilde. Wilde nodded his head slowly at Elizabeth, who didn't seem convinced in the slightest.

"Okay, let's get to work!" cheered Soma, snapping Elizabeth away from her gaze. This was going to take a while if Snake was going to insist on having his snakes present.
