Hey, guys. I just want to apologise in advance if this chapter is not up to its usual standards. A lot of stuff is going on in my life at the moment right now, I'm not doing too good. A full-ish explanation at the end of the chapter for those who are interested in knowing. The lyrics up there are for 'Ain't No Rest for the Wicked' by Cage the Elephant.
"-I said, 'You're such a sweet young thing, why you do this to yourself?'" (your name) sang to herself as she was cleaning the bathroom, which was full of the scent of lemon-scented antibacterial cleaning products. "She looked at me and this is what she said.
"Oh, there ain't no rest for the wicked, Money don't grow on trees. I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed, There ain't nothing in this world for free. Oh no, I can't slow down, I can't hold back, Though you know, I wish I could. Oh no there ain't no rest for the wicked, Until we close our eyes for good," (your name) paused her singing to scrub at a particularly tough stain to shift in the sink; once the stain was out of sight, she carried on.
"Not even fifteen minutes later after walking down the street, When I saw the shadow of a man creep out of sight; And then he swept up from behind, he put a gun up to my head, He made it clear he wasn't looking for a fight. He said, 'Give me all you've got, I want your money not your life, But if you try to make a move I won't think twice'. I told him, 'You can have my cash, but first you know I gotta ask, What made you wanna live this kind of life?' He said
"Oh there ain't no rest for the wicked, Money don't grow on trees. I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed, There ain't nothing in this world for free. Oh no, I can't slow down, I can't hold back, Though you know, I wish I could. Oh no there ain't no rest for the wicked, Until we close our eyes for good," finished in the bathroom, (your name) stood up and left, carrying her cleaning products, to the kitchen, where she started to clean the stove.
"Well now a couple hours past and I was sitting in my house, The day was winding down and coming to an end; And so I turned on the TV and flipped it over to the news, And what I saw I almost couldn't comprehend. I saw a preacher man in cuffs, he'd taken money from the church- He'd stuffed his bank account with righteous dollar bills. But even still I can't say much because I know we're all the same, Oh yes we all seek out to satisfy those thrills.
"Oh there ain't no rest for the wicked, Money don't grow on trees. We got bills to pay, we got mouths to feed, There ain't nothing in this world for free. Oh no we can't slow down, we can't hold back, Though you know we wish we could. Oh no there ain't no rest for the wicked, Until we close our eyes for good," she sang out the last note as she finished her monthly scrub-down of the flat. He quickly swiped away the sweat clinging to her brow as she went to stow away the cleaning supplies in a little cupboard under the sink, literally throwing them into the cramped cupboard.

"Where is my Earl?" demanded a woman, who burst into the main foyer of the Phantomhive Estate. The woman in question possessed light brown eyes and brown hair styled into a curly ponytail on the left side of her head- the woman stood tall and proper, and was well-dressed. She donned a tight, low-cut, long-sleeved top and a vest sewn with black lace placed over it, as well as a tear-away skirt that revealed shorts underneath- something that had been remarked upon as something 'unladylike' in the past. Beneath the shorts, she wore visible garters, thigh-high boots and accessories, such as a choker, spectacles, earrings and a feathered hat set at jaunty angle to the right side of her head. The tailor in question was named Nina Hopkins.
"Nina!" Elizabeth greeted cheerfully, running up to greet the tailor who stormed into the manor. "Nina! How lovely it is to see you!"
"Aah, Lizzy, I was hoping to see you as well!" the servants and everyone else who was currently residing in the manor shuffled into the room. Nina and Elizabeth quickly embraced before Nina eyed Elizabeth's outfit up down. "That dress is so last season, I'll have to tailor you a new one for this season!" she completely ignored everyone else.
