"Prince Soma?"

"Yes?"

"Aren't you supposed to be staying at Ciel's townhouse?" Elizabeth asked the purple-haired Indian.

"But of course!" replied Soma with enough enthusiasm that could rival Finny's.

"Then why are you here?"

"The same reason you are. We want to help find Ciel and Sebastian, and all the other missing people," interjected Agni, Soma nodding his head at his servant's words. "For now, we can only pray to the Gods that they are all right."

"This is going to take some time getting used to," (your name) said as she sat on the sofa with her laptop, catching up on some missed work that was due, emailed to her by her teachers. The cats were busy talking to each other and, since she could now understand them, (your name) was able to hear everything they said.

"My deepest and most sincere apologies, Miss (your name), I wish there was something I could do," Sebastian did his best attempt at a bow, making (your name) scoff at his formalities.

"Sebastian, mate, you can just call me (your name), there's no need for formalities around me," she dismissed, typing the last few words of her 100 page essay she needed to type up. After that, she put the laptop on the table in front of her, stretched and went to make dinner for the cats and herself. She had long since stopped puking so she didn't need to be carrying around the vomit bowl. She grabbed the bad of cat food and poured a decent amount into six small bowls, one for each cat, and set it to the side. They came running once they heard the cat food hit the bowls.

"Are you sure you want to keep eating cat food?" (your name) asked uncertainly, watching them devour the food in front of them.

"It's surprisingly good," Cole said simply in between mouthfuls of the stuff. Aloud paused only to nod his head before he carried on eating with the rest of them. (your name) shrugged and said, "Suit yourselves," before she went to the stove.

Pulling ingredients from the cabinets above, (your name) started to make (favourite food) for herself. The cats patiently waited for her to finish on top of the counter behind her. After making the food, she quickly scooped it all into her own bowl, red with a dark brown specks all over it, and switched the stove off. She gave each of the cats a scratch behind the ears before she grabbed a can of beer from the fridge and made her way back to the sofa, where she began to eat. Claude, smelling the alcohol, asked, "Should you be drinking that?"

(your name) turned her head to the side to see Claude sitting on the armrest of the sofa, gazing intently at the alcoholic drink in her hand. She took a sip before saying, "I'm not Ciel and Alous, you know, and I am a few years over the age limit."

"A few years?"

"Yeah. I'm twenty two and the legal age here is 18. I'm sure even you can work out that I'm old enough," (your name) took another sip to prove that she is allowed to drink the beer. Sebastian put his left paw over his mouth to stifle his laughter while Undertaker openly laughed at Claude. Claude, in turn, gave a sort of huff and jumped to the window sill, where he sulked alone.

"That was amazing, (your name)!" Undertaker choked out between his laughs.

"I know it was," she said, smirking as Claude's ears obviously twitched in the direction of your voice. His ears then flew flat against his head; (your name) chuckled before finishing the last bite of (favourite food) and draining the last drop of beer and getting up, dumping her empty bowl and the cats' in the sink for later and tossing the van into the bin next to the door. It bounced off the edge and landed, miraculously, inside of it. She fist-bumped the air before making her way back to the sofa where she pulled the laptop onto her lap again, and started a new essay about (favourite subject).

"What a strange contraption," Cole muttered while Grell was busy combing himself with his claws.

"Dom katjie," (Silly kitten) (your name) chuckled to herself at the confused face made by Grell.

"What?!"

"Well, this is boring," said Bard. Mey-Rin, Finny and himself were sitting at the servants' dining table in the middle of the kitchen with their backs hunched and arms draped miserably across the table, their chins resting on the smooth surface.

"Yeah," Mey-Rin agreed miserably while Finny groaned, his face pressed up against the tabletop.

"I mean, it's not like it hasn't happened before, but never this long," Barf continued to rant on, making Finny groan. But they all jumped up as the door was suddenly slammed open to reveal a very excited Soma.

"Guys, come quickly, we have evidence!"

"A witness?" Funny wheezed some sort time later (Soma made them run up a lot of stairs to get here), looking at the young woman wearing a pale blue dress, corset done up rather tightly; she had dark blue eyes and brown hair set in numerous curls on the top of her head.

She nodded her head, " Yes. I am Isabella Vance and I believe I have some information that may be of use to you."

One towel holding up her hair and another bound across and around her chest, (your name) stepped out of the shower to be greeted with a pair of large, blue eyes.

"Pervert," she said. Alois cackled just as Grell pranced into the bathroom.

"(your name), darling, would you mind brushing my fur before I have my beauty sleep?" he asked importantly, bushy tail swaying gently in the air behind him.

"Why, of course," (your name) offered, leaving the room with Grell.

"Wait for me!" Alois  yelled and padded out of the room after the two who just left.
