One Week Later
I was finally being released from the hospital today and I couldn't wait to go home and be back in my own environment.
"Tevin, please don't let me fall." I said, holding on to my brother as he helped me into the car. Over the last week, Tevin, Syd, and Ilene have really stepped up to help me and Dean out. At first, I didn't think I needed the help, but it was clear that I did need it.
"I got you sis." He assured me, making sure I got into the passenger seat safely. "I know you're excited about coming home."
"More than you'll ever know. I miss my bed, I miss good, flavorful food, I miss my man, and I miss my baby."
"Speaking of babies..." He began, pulling his phone out of his pocket. "Jackie gave birth a few days ago." He showed me a picture of his newly born daughter.

"Aww...she's cute! What's her name?" I asked.
"Ivy Brielle Miori Booker."
"Ivy is a beautiful name. Almost as beautiful as my Bella." I said, smiling.
"Yeah, yeah. I had no say in her name, but Jackie did allow me to give her a middle name and my last name." He said, scratching the back of his head. Who would've thought that we'd both have kids that were literally a few days apart? I know I didn't see that coming.
"So...are you happy?" I asked him.
"No...not really, but I am happy that I have a beautiful, healthy daughter that will never want for anything as long as I'm alive. I just wish she came from Syd, instead of Jackie's annoying ass." He huffed. I rubbed his arm, hearing my phone pinging, letting me know that I had a text message.
Unknown Number:Do you know who caused the wreck? I do. Do you want to find out?
"You have got to be kidding me!"
"What? What's wrong?" Tevin asked, furrowing his eyebrows.
"The unknown texter, aka Biggie, just texted me and said that he knows who caused the wreck."
