The sound of my doorbell ringing woke both me And Talia up, making us groan with frustration and exhaustion. Bella kept us both up half the night and we were finally getting some good sleep, until the damn doorbell started ringing.
"Not if I kill him first." I said, climbing out of bed and heading downstairs. I couldn't even get the door opened before Tevin just busted into the house, looking like he's been up all night.
"You will not BELIEVE what the fuck I just found out man!" He exclaimed, heading upstairs.
"Tevin!" I huffed, following him upstairs to the bedroom. I guess this is payback for all the times Talia and I showed up to his house unannounced, but you'd think he'd show a little more compassion knowing that we now had a newborn in the house.
"Aye sis! Wake your peg leg ass up!"
"This couldn't wait until later, Tevin? Bella had us up all night and we're exhausted." She whined.
"Trust me...you'll want to hear this. So last night, that text that Biggie had sent us was still fresh in my mind, so I decided to call Syd and see what was up. Bruh...guess who answered her fucking phone?!"
"Who?" Both me and Talia asked.
"That bitch ass nigga, Sam!" My eyes widened while Talia quickly sat up in the bed.
"I know you fucking lying!" She snapped.
"I put that on everything I love!"
"Sam's the guy that was working with Jude, right?" I questioned.
"Yep, that's him and once we deal with Syd, I'll call Serena up and see if she'll drop a location for her brother." Talia said, pressing the phone against her ear. "Hey, can you come over? Yes I do know what time it is, but what's sleep anymore when you have a baby? Okay, see you in a minute. Syd's on her way."
"Damn, that was fast." I grumbled, knowing I wouldn't be getting much sleep today. "And I didn't know you were still in contact with Serena."
"I'm not. She gave me her number a while back, telling me to call her, and that her brother will pay for shooting me. I wonder if that offer still stands." She grabbed her crutches and stood up, making her way into the bathroom.
"And put some damn clothes on! Nobody wants to see your half naked ass!" He called out.
"Then you shouldn't have popped up over here uninvited! Therefore...Fuck you! I'm not putting any clothes on for your ass!" Tevin murmured something under his breath, as he walked over to Bella's bassinet and stared down at her.
