Chapter 9: Credit

Dani's POV

"I'm so proud of you" San said. We were on our way to my apartment, we just came back from my appointment with Dr. Connors.

"I didn't do anything"

"Yeah you did" she said while she pulled over the car "First of all, you had the courage to show up after a month, and you decided to keep with you therapy. This is already half way to recovery Dani" she kissed my chick and I opened the passenger door

"Wanna come in?" I asked

"I can't... I need to go home and get ready, Gunther set me up for the night shift, again "

"Oh.. then I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yup, tomorrow" she smiled and I closed the door. She waved and drove.

I walked into my apartment and sighed. This was hard but I did it, and I have to say that I'm proud of myself too

"Is she your girlfriend?". I jumped

"Oh my god Dylan! You scared the fuck out of me!"

"Language!" he said and I walked over him, he was sitting on the couch

"Uh shut up... Don't you have your own place?!" I hit him playfully

"I do, but you have to admit you missed me being around here..."

"Yeah I did"

"So is she?" he asked again

"What?"

"Santana" he continued "Is she your girlfriend?"

"U-umm n-n-no"

"Why are you stuttering?" he smirked. Gosh I hate when he does that

"I'm not"

"O-ok-kay" he sarcastically said, making fun of me. I hit him again

"Why do you even care? Don't you have your own 'love life'?"

"Ohh so your including her under the category of "love life" " he said while doing bunny ears with his fingers

"Stop okay? She's not my girlfriend... why won't you concentrate on your own girlfriend instead... What happened to her?"

"Who? Sam? I didn't even like her" he said rolling his eyes

"You were madly in love with her!!! And she loved you too! She just didn't liked me"

"If she doesn't like you then she can't love me, okay?" He stood up and stroked my shoulder

"You need to stop taking care of me Dylan. You're giving away too many thing for me. Look Elena did it and now she's engaged! Call Sam back or something, or meet someone new and stop caring so much for me.... I'm fine"

"This is the exact thing you said before I left to London, and look what happened..." He said looking me dead in the eyes, he was upset, I could tell. I figured out Santana told him everything....

We stood like this for a few moments until I had the courage to open my mouth again "I-I'm.... I'm coming back to therapy..." I almost whispered

His eyes grow bigger in a second and a giant smile appeared on his face, something that send a weak smile to my face too, then he pulled me to a big and strong hug "That's amazing Danzie!". I missed him calling me like that... he didn't called me like that since we were younger... I closed my eyes and calmed myself into his big and loving hug. I did made a big step today, and I should give myself credit for it.

Santana's POV

"Hurry up Santana!" Berry knocked on the bathroom door

"Okay okay calm down!"

I finished getting dresses and putting my make up then I left the bathroom

"Finally" Rachel said handing me my coffee

"Thanks" I mumbled sending my hand to take the cup

"Ep!" she said moving the cup away from my hand so I won't reach it "what did you say? I couldn't hear you"

"Thank you" I mumbled a bit louder this time and she gave me my coffee when a knock arrived on the door

"Are you expecting someone?" Rachel asked while we both walked to the door

"No" I said opening the door to see a delivery guy holding a bucket of flowers

"Santana Lopez?" he asked

"Yeah me" I said and he gave me the flowers

"Have a great day ladies" he said and walked away. I closed the door behind him and placed the flowers on the counter

"Ohhhh" Rachel said with a goofy smile on her face "who is this from?"

I read the note:

Dani... She knows me so good... My heart melts every time she calls me San....

"It's from Dani" I said with a big smile

"Ohh how cute" Rachel said sending a quick look to her watch "well you can thank her at work" she grabbed me by my arm and pulled me out of the place "We're already late!"
