Chapter 1

(Joarden's p.o.v)

Let me introduce myself. My name is Joarden Clover, I am a 18 year old honor student at Peet's high school. I am not very social, I don't even have many friends, I participate in some school sports and activities, but the one I'm most focused on is cheerleading.
I am about 5''3 feet tall, I have long bright purple hair, I have many freckles on my cheeks and nose. I have ocean blue eyes that happen to change color when in different sunlight.
Now that you kind of have a visual on what I look like, time to get back to present day.

I have just woken up to my obnoxious alarm clock, I rub my eyes as i growl and groan to myself. Then I manage to get myself out of bed. The first thing I do when I wake up is brush my hair and teeth.

After said brushing, I walk over to my decently seized closet and pick out a cute outfit, which happens to be a white crop-top along with a pair of baby blue booty shorts. I pack up my bag with all my books and papers and I speed walk out the door.

On my walk to school, I always happen to run into the hottest guy I have EVER seen in my entire life. His name is Kevin Joiner, he's such a dream boat.

Trying not to get too distracted, I make my way to school. I find my locker, number 178, I put in my combination and put my books inside. I took a gum from my bag before putting that into my locker aswell. Just as I was about to shut and lock my locker, someone pushed my locker door with such force my hand almost got stuck.

I jump back as I focus on the figure that almost took my hand off. ''Your Joarden, right?'' said the tall, sexy Kevin. ''Yep, that's me, why? What do ya need?'' I plastered a huge smile on my face.

''Well, Ive heard around the school that your a pretty chill person, wanna skip with me?'' He flashed me his adorable white smile. Without hesitation, nor thinking, I nodded my head, putting my lock on my locker. ''Follow me..'' He smirked as he quietly walked off.

He led me out to the front of the school. He leaned on the school sign as he crossed his arms. ''My buddy will be picking us up, if your alright with that?'' He asked in a question-like tone. ''Yep, perfectly fine.'' I said with a smile. Jesus Joarden, calm down, your gonna scare him away.

After about five minutes of waiting infront of the school, a blue mustang with black stripes pulls up with a loud screech. ''Let's go!'' Yelled the driver. Kevin opens the door. ''Do you want the back or front?'' He asked with a smile. ''I'll take the back if you don't mind.'' I said with a shy expression. He nods with a smile as he turns to the car and moves the front seat and motions me to get in. ''Thanks.'' I smiled brightly at him as I step into the car and get into a comfortable position. He moves the seat back and gets in the car.

The driver looks back at me with a smile as he holds out his hand. ''My name is Reece, Reece Evans.'' I put my hand out and shake his. ''This is Joarden. She is quite the shy one.'' Kevin nudges Reece with his elbow. I smile shyly as i move my purple bangs behind my ear. ''I like your hair, by the way.'' Reece added after him and Kevin had a short conversation about something. ''T-thanks.'' I studdered. ''She's adorable.'' Kevin laughed.

I blushed as I looked out the window. ''Where are we going?'' I asked curiously. ''Well, it's up to the boss.'' Reece looked over to Kevin for a quick second. ''Well maybe one of our houses?''

''Where are your parents Reece?'' Kevin asked as he looked up from his phone. ''They're at work I'm pretty sure.'' Reece pulled over on the side of the road. ''Maybe drive by to see if they're cars are there?'' I leaned forward a bit. ''That would be a smart idea!'' Reece reved the engine, which may I add, was very loud.

I yelped as I blocked my ears. ''Aw, what's wrong Joarden?'' Kevin smirked as he looked back at me. ''It's only a 289 K-Code engine.'' Reece added. I crossed my arms. ''Aww baby girl, don't pout.'' Kevin laughed.

After about what it seemed like fifteen minutes of driving. We arrived at a decently big house. ''No cars, I'll go check the garage.'' Reece parked in the driveway and got out of the car. ''If the garage door opens, park the car inside please.'' Reece tossed the car keys to Kevin. He answered with only a nod.

I watched Reece as he walked inside the house. It was quiet inside the car. Kevin was on his phone, I looked down and picked at my fingers. ''Hey, baby girl, what's wrong?'' Kevin looked at me through the rear view mirror. ''Oh n-nothing.'' I smiled as I sat with my back straight. Our coversation was cut short when we heard the garage door opening. Kevin got out of the car and sat in the driver's seat. He started the engine and drove into the driveway. He put the keys in his pocket as he moved the seat to let me out.

''Follow me guys, let's go downstairs. My borther and his friends are home.'' Reece motioned us to follow him. We went downstairs as I saw about four guys sitting the the couch, all on their phones. Reece coughed as all four boys looked up at the same time. One of them stood up to go shake Reece's hand. He had short blond hair with blue, almost grey eyes. ''Hey Reece!'' The blond one shouted as he shook Reece's hand. ''Who's the girl?'' The one with brown hair said as he put his phone in his pocket. ''Guys, this is our new friend Joarden..... Sorry, I never got you're last name sweetie.'' Reece smiled. ''Clover. The last names Clover.'' I smiled as i cupped my hands together behind my back.

''Well, this is my little brother Robin.'' Reece nudged Robin in the side. Robin waved kindly at me as I waved back. ''The one with brown hair is Robin's friend Blake. Robin introduce them to Joarden. Me and Kevin have to go upstairs.'' I watched as Reece and Kevin walked up the stairs and went out of sight. ''The one with long black hair is Eli and the one with the black hair is Warren.'' Robin pointed at each of the boys. "Nice to meet you all!" I smiled and looked at the room. "Who's room is this?" I look at Robin. "This is my room." Robin smiled as he went to sit back down. "The boys are upstairs if you wanna go see them." Blake smiled as he went back on his phone. I nodded as i turned towards the stairs.

I got to the top of the stairs, I guess it leads to the living room, but there's no tv. I saw lots of pictures. I walked over to go look at them. "Joarden, whatchya doin?" Said the voice behind me. I jump and turn around very quickly. "Whoa. It's just me." I saw Kevin. "Shit, sorry." I blushed. "Me and Reece are gonna go for a ride, wanna come?" He asked as I saw Reece putting on his shoes. I nod with a smile as I also went to go put my shoes on.

All three of us walked over to the car. I got in the back and the boys sat in the front. "So where are we going?" I ask curiously. "You'll see." The boys both said at the same time. "All I'm gonna say is we're going to see my sister." Reece smiled. I slightly jumped with exitement as I watched the trees pass by.
