"Y-you don't... Kill people... Do you..?" I asked with shaky voice. He just stared at me, his emotionless face. "If you've met the bad kind of people that I've met. You would too..." He said as he shook his head. My eyes widdened as I did nothing but stare up at him. "This won't change how you see me.. Right?" He asked me as he looked down at me.
I sigh. "I guess not, as long as you don't murder innocent people..." I wrap my arms around his waist and hug him. He hugs me back, "I'm glad your so understanding." He whispered into my ear. We both walk back into the house as I realize I still had Kevin's phone. I turn back to look at him, a huge smirk on my face as I take off running again. "Joarden! Give me my phone!" He yells with a chuckle as he chases me. I swiftly turn around all objects I ran by. He couldn't keep up.
I laugh as I run, with his phone in my hands. I run up the stairs and into a random room. I shut the door and look around the room quickly for a hidding spot. I notice that the room is very dark. I squint my eyes to try and adjust to the room. I notice a closet with big, brown doors. I run over to it and hide inside. I shut the closet door behind me and crouch down into a ball. I quiet my breathing and cover my mouth. I look through the crack of the door and wait.
I hear the room door slowly open, a tall shadow appears on the floor in the middle of the room. After standing there for a little bit, the shadow seems to have walked away. I move my hand from infront of my mouth and sigh. All of a sudden Kevin swings the closet doors open. I scream at the top of my lungs as he gently grabs my arms and pulls me up to me feet. "I found you." He smiled. I return his smile and hand him his phone. "Thanks baby doll." He grabs it and hugs me.
We both walk back to his room, I look around for Violet. "Violet?" I call out. I look in all the small cracks she could possibly fit in. "Umm.. Kevin? I can't find Violet!" I shout as I run up to him. "Did you check under the bed..?" He asked, I shook my head as I see his emotion change to complete worry. I run out of the room and down the stairs. I turn my head towards the backyard and notice the door is wide open. I run to the back door and look around. I stop as I see her sitting in the grass, minding her own buisness. I let out a loud sigh as I smile at her.
"Hey Violet! Let's go feed you!" I call to her. She perks her ears in the cutest way and sprints over to me. "Kevin, I found her!" I shout as I walk into the kitchen, Violet following right behind me. I pour her a bowl of food and walk back upstairs. "Uh hey! Joarden! Someone is on the phone for you!" I hear Kevin calling me. Who could possibly be calling me on Kevin's phone?
I walk upstairs and into his room, he hands me his phone and leaves the room. "H-hello..?" I say into the phone.
"Joarden?" I hear.
"Yes..?" I answer back.
"Hey, it's dad."
