~Sherwin's Pov~
I woke up, forgetting for a minute where I was. I sat up and stretched. I got out of bed and headed downstairs. Since I was so sleepy I tripped and fell down the stairs.
"OWWWWWW!" I yelled once I finally reached the bottom. "Sherwin are you okay!" mom yelled as she rushed over to me. "I..think so.." I said getting up from the floor and rubbing my back. "Anyways....what's for breakfast?" I asked. "Oh well I had to leave early to get breakfast. I swear once we get everything into its place, I'll go grocery shopping." mom said while entering the kitchen.
I went into the kitchen to see lots of boxes everywhere. I didn't know we had so much kitchen stuff... "Did we really have this much kitchen stuff?" I asked pushing away some boxes so I could sit at the table. "No, but when driving back home I passed by stores with really adorable kitchen things, and I couldn't resist..." said mom handing me a plate of pancakes, sausage, and some French toast. She also handed me a cup of orange-juice "T...tnks mmm!" I said while stuffing my face with pancakes. Mom laughed. "Aren't you going to eat?" I asked whipping my mouth with a napkin. "I already ate, once your done with your orange-juice go take a shower. This new school of yours has a get together a couple weeks before school. While searching for the house here somebody told me all about it." said mom cleaning the table.
"W-wait is this get together like...a..p-p-party?" I asked tugging on m shirt. "Well yes and no. The school invites all the parents and students, and they basically tell everyone there of new things in the school, and if there cancelling things." said mom leaning on the table facing me. "Oh...do I have to go!" I whined, I didn't like going to party's at all. "Yes you have to go. You can go make friends and things." said mom. "Finnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeee." I said going upstairs.
~15 Minutes later~
I went downstairs fixing my dark blue tux. I've had this tux for months because, of my aunts wedding. I grabbed my blue tuxedo shoes. My aunt really did love blue. "Mom...I'm ready." I said putting on my shoes. "Alright. Well I'm ready to so lets go." said mom coming out from a her room upstairs.
Mom was wearing a purple dress that covered her feet, the sleeves for the dress were lacing (c.shld.net/rpx/i/s/pi/mp/19082/prod_2255436528?src=http://www.annagifts.ca/images/Sears/HE09882PP-L.jpg&d=98a547e5ec052488b506799424c9e4f745918b2d I'm adding a bit more to the dress) the dress also had some fake jewels, and the bottom of the dress had some type of glitter or something.
"The school's not to far so we should be there in about 5-10 minutes." Mom said putting on her purple high-heels. Then we exited the house and saw lots of other people walking to the school already, so we followed.
Once we reached the school all I could say was 'whoa'. I entered the school gate along with my mom. We entered the school and it was huge. All I could see was lockers, until we walked into the gymnasium.
The gymnasium had a stage to the right, and to the left of the room were lots of tables and seats (Obviously...). Many parents and children were at the tables. Me and my mom luckily found one near the end of the room.
A man walked up to the stage and said, "Welcome back everyone and welcome to our new students." Everyone clapped except me and lots of other kids.
While the man talked for what seemed like hours he finally stopped. That's when some music blasted through the speakers. Mom tapped my shoulder and told me to get up and make friends. Of course I had to listen to her and I stood up and looked around. There were groups of kids everywhere.
I passed by a group of girls who look like the didn't know how to apply make-up, and giggled every five seconds. I passed a group of jocks, they all seemed rude from they way they talked, and since they talked about this one person I didn't know in a mean way. I passed by gamers, yea...no. I passed a group of kids reading advanced math books, and I don't think they were for this grade. I passed by some bullies, but I luckily walked away before they could bully me. I passed by many other kind of groups but none seemed like they would accept me.
I was going to walk back to my table until I heard someone running behind me. I looked back and was pushed to the floor, and whoever was running tripped on my foot.
