Episode 41: Discord

*Adela*

"Lei, wake up," I said as I opened the door to his room. I smiled at the sight. Lei was sound asleep, looking as peaceful as ever. It had been a long time since I had seen him looking so serene. So I decided to turn around and let him asleep some more.

"Adela?" Lei grumbled. I turned around and saw that he was stirring awake. My face heated up as soon as I saw he was wearing a loose robe, making his chest visible.

"Oh, hey," I said, turning away. "I wanted to wake you up. Nyima and Iah are going to head out in a few. I made you some of your favorite food.You can either eat it here or take it with you on the journey.

Lei jumped out of his bed and ran over to hug me. "Wah? You did? This is why you're my favorite teammate!" he yelled with joy. He gasped and put a hand on my forehead. "You're burning up, are you feeling okay?"

"I'm fine!" I said, perhaps a little loud as I ended up stunning him. "Uh, hurry up and get changed, I'll be downstairs."

"O-okay," Lei said, rubbing the back of his head. He looked confused by my reaction.

I closed my eyes as I found them gravitating toward his chest. "Uh, see you downstairs."

I ran out of the room as fast as I could. I jogged down the long wooden halls filled with twin rows of crimson pillars on either side.

"Where are you off to in such a rush?" Nyima asked as I ran past her.

"None of your business," I said.

"Woah, okay," she said as I was several feet away from her. "Let me go wake up Lei."

"I'm already awake," Lei said as he stepped out of his room. "Oi, Adela! Wait for me!"

"Why is everyone in a rush when we haven't even left?" Nyima asked, sighing as she chased after Lei who ran after me.

I chuckled. Why was I getting so worked up for anyway?

Lei caught up in now time and actually rushed past me. I hoped he remember his way around the palace as he did have a knack for getting lost, at least he did as a kid.

"Honey chicken, honey chicken!" he yelled in a sing song voice.

Nyima and I chuckled. It seemed it wasn't too hard for us to get the old Lei back, all he need was some honey. I had better cook him some more of that stuff later on.

"Hey!" Iah said, waving. He had changed into an elegant long sleeved golden robe with dragon embroidery on the back. He wore it loose, showing off part of his chest.

"You guys should really cover up," I said, looking away.

My former fiance chuckled. "Come on! This is normal for us in our homelands, just like it's normal here for woman to show more of their assets off."

Nyima blinked and turned over to look at Adela whose red robe also exposed a lot of cleavage. "That explains it."

"Don't judge her when you are too," Iah said, grinning as he pointed at her chest.

The blue haired girl covered up and slapped him. "Don't stare you pervert."

"Right back atcha, or do you think I didn't notice you checking me out? Though it's not the first time. Your voyaging eyes did linger for awhile when you walked in on me stepping out of the shower."

I gasped. "What?"

"Hey, you're making it sound worse than it actually was!"

Iah winked. "Don't you mean better?"
