Episode One.

"The infamous serial killer, V, strikes once again after killing Y.KL a member of a famous idol group called: E.X.. On February 21, 20XX around 2:08 AM in Resorts Hub Hotel, Y.KL was found dead. The Police found a burn wound behind Y.KL's back, it was V's branded mark for whom he murdered. This marks as V's fifth murder. The Police refused our interview regarding their plans of capturing the infamous serial killer."

"Ahh. Talk about that career improvement, V definitely sky-rocketed better than me. Everyone wants V's ass to be apprehended." Jeong Yein grabbed the kimchi side dish using her chopsticks and ate it.

"Are you being serious, Yein?" Yein's best friend, Ryu Sujeong, asked in disbelief.

"Owf cwourse I am! Ywou know mwe well." Yein incoherently said because she was chewing her rice.

"Is this because you didn't pass the audition in order to become a trainee?" Sujeong asked, but she didn't receive an answer from her best friend. "Ya, Jeong Yein!" She demanded an answer.

"Obviously, Sujeong!" Yein irritatingly answered. "It ticks me off that majority of the trainees used connections to enter easily!" She clenched her chopsticks, showing her hidden anger released.

"You can contact your father if you wanted connections, Yein." Sujeong suggested.

"What?! No in hell fucking way!" Sujeong was startled when she heard Yein cursed. "I am just nothing but a pathetic dependent girl who didn't evolve as a woman if I continue clinging to my father. I don't want to stay that way, Sujeong!" Yein gritted her teeth.

Sujeong felt sad. It's not like she was unhappy about Yein's determination, but sad about herself. Yein didn't want to continue being dependent of her family, but rather wanted to stand on her own. Sujeong actually felt jealous about Yein's chosen destiny, as for her she can't. She believed that her destiny was already sealed. She looked sadly on her engagement ring.

"Good luck on that, Yein. If anything happens, you already know I'll be here for you." Sujeong wanted to support her best friend. If she couldn't escape her destiny, then at least she wanted Yein to write hers. "I'm rooting for your success. Don't give up!" Best friends should encourage one another and if each one of them succeeded they should be happy.

"You don't have to tell me that," Yein crossed her arms. "Because I know that you're by my side." Yein smiled.

They grinned and eventually shared a hearty laugh. They were both grateful to God that they were given a good best friend that will bring you up when you're down and root for you when you're successful.

Yein looked once again to the TV, and surprised that there's a breaking news regarding about Y.KL again. She's not a fan of E.X., but it was shocking that the boy group's leader suddenly died on V's hands. She attended several music festival concerts, and everyone was head over heels about Y.KL.

"Breaking News: The Police also found that Y.KL is the leader behind the Prostitution Ring in Bucheon, Gyeonggi. Upon investigating about Y.KL's death, it was said that he's involved in the murder of Kate, a member of an idol group called: LIP KISS, abducting young girls that were reported to be missing, using an illegal drugs, and possessing an unregistered firearms."

They furrowed their eyebrows when they heard another surprising news about Y.KL. Sujeong didn't know anything about the group nor the dead member of it, but it was quite surprising. She concluded that maybe the company was also involved to Y.KL's activity as well.

"Is it safe to assume that this serial killer, V, is only targeting people who commits crime?" Yein wondered.

"Now that you mention it..." Sujeong pondered as she held her chin using her thumb and index finger.
