"Sujeong?! Sujeong?!" Hyejin tried to call her daughter's name, but Sujeong already ended the call. All she could hear was several sounds of beep.
"Did something happen, Ma'am Hyejin?" Seojoon asked with concerned tone.
Hyejin shook her head, "Nothing. Tell Officer Jeon that he should stop looking for my daughter."
"Why is that?" Seojoon hoped that this wasn't about a case where the kidnapper demands for money and the victims shouldn't call help from the police.
"She told me that she's fine, although she didn't tell me where she currently is." Hyejin answered.
"Are you certain?" Seojoon wanted to throughly check about this matter.
Hyejin nodded, "Yes, she's mad at me. She told me that I shouldn't look for her."
"Isn't that bad? Because your daughter told that you shouldn't look for her." Seojoon was puzzled.
"I can't stop worrying about my dear daughter, but I think she's fine and somewhere safe. Based at what she just told, she's fine and she wanted me to stop looking for her since she's staying somewhere safe and she didn't tell where." Hyejin answered. "Of course, I have no basis that what I've told is true, but I... I think I want my daughter to breathe for a while. So, tell Officer Jeon about it."
Seojoon couldn't help, but to comply at what Hyejin told him. He nodded his head, and started to dial Jungkook. He waited for few more seconds, and the rookie cop finally picked up Seojoon's call.
"Yes, Sir?"
"Pull out."
"Excuse me, Sir?"
"You heard me, this is what Ma'am Hyejin wanted."
Jungkook was confused, but if Hyejin wanted it then he had no choice. "Understood."
"Return to the police station, we'll meet there." Seojoon said before he ended the call.
Jungkook didn't have a choice but to return back to the police station. Hyejin thanked Seojoon for their time, which Seojoon told her that it was nothing as he only did what police was supposed to do.
It didn't take Seojoon long to arrive at the police station. He went off his car, and locked it using his remote key. He entered inside, and noticed that there are several men who were injured on their arms and faces. Of course, he will question what happened.
One of the police officer saw Seojoon, and quickly saluted. "Good morning, Sir." It was already 1:57AM.
"What happened?" He asked.
"While patrolling around the area, we found these people lying on the ground. We noticed that they have an illegal drug sealed in the containers, and loads of cash. We've conducted an interrogation about what happened. All of them told the same thing, they were supposed to use these drugs but they saw a woman and they sexually attempted to assault that woman. As the result, they were beaten up by a good-looking man who wears suit." The police officer answered. "The investigations are still ongoing, Sir. We're currently reviewing the CCTV around that area to confirm what these perpetrators told." The police added.
Seojoon patted the police's shoulder two times, "Good job. Let me know what happens next."
"It's a pleasure, Sir."
He was about to return to his office when he remembered about Jungkook, "Oh," He turned his head back to the police officer, "Before I leave, have you seen Jungkook?"
The police officer shook his head, "Unfortunately, I haven't, Sir."
"I see. Thank you." Seojoon said.
