Connor would have jumped at the chance for another free day, Hank was unstable so he had been excused, but Connor knew the reason, he was part of the reason, he's the reason Frost is gone. "Where have you been?" Hank asks hearing the door open and thinking it's Connor "You really miss me huh?" a female says causing Hank to turn around "I'm here to grab some stuff" she explains looking at him "Go before-" "Frost?" Connor asks dropping the bag "Well this certainly is awkward" Frost mumbles turning around "Thanks for not shooting me by the way" she adds "You look different" Connor says "I have no time to chat" she says walking to her old room, she leaves after grabbing the nessecary things, but Connor is following her "Hey" Frost says seeing North and the two give each other a hug before walking on "You know you're being followed right?" North asks "That's the point, is he there?" "All according to plan, but are you sure you'll be fine?" "Yes I told you, I can go three minutes without it". Connor keeps following the two and North gets the brilliant idea to take a shortcut and Markus signals Josh when the two enter the alley. Connor runs over hearing commotion and he's just in time to see a deviant run off with a power core, a red one "Frost are you alright?" he asks "Keep an eye on her" North says before running after the 'thief', he tries to scan her and succeeds much to his surprise "You're going to shut down in half a minute" he says "I'll be... fine" Frost says, the plan was actually working, North returns and hands the power core to Connor who hesitates to put it in "Please save her" North says, Markus grins, but that falters when Connor doesn't do anything "I can't" he whispers, he could save the person he cares about the most, but his hands won't move "Connor please" Frost says. North shoves him to the side when he is pushing it close, with only 5 seconds remaining and she puts the power core back "Why did you hesitate?" North asks "I-I don't know" Connor says looking at the two, since Frost did feel pain she couldn't get up yet "Well thanks for nothing" North says pulling her friend from the ground "Close your jacket", Connor is left alone and he looks at his hands, he had almost killed her "You failed" Markus says coming from the shadows "Failed?" Connor asks, slightly confused "Frost had put all her trust in you, but it seems your investigation is more important. Had the roles been reversed she wouldn't have hesitated to save you, she loves you" Markus says before leaving Connor in his own thought.
Frost curses when she sits up "Your fault" Josh says "I'm more surprised he even watched over you" Simon says looking at the four androids "Lesson learned, never trust the newest ptototype" Frost says laying back down "It's damaged" Markus says referring to the power core "Markus, we're ready to leave" Simon says "Get ready to leave then" Markus says.
Frost wanders around, having replaced her power core with the extra one she had and she looks at Markus "Last chance to say goodbye" he says earning a confused look "I have orders to neutralize the leader of the deviants and kill rA9" Connor says making the two turn to him "Let me do the talking" Markus says looking at Frost who nods "Get the ship ready, I'll throw him overboard if needed" "Trust me Markus, that won't be needed, but I should get this place moving" Frost takes her place by the controls and he turns to look at Connor who gives a warning shot "We're moving" she says and Connor looks at her, but he notices her eyes are cold towards him "Last chance" she says. She sees the conflict and he lowers the gun "They're going to attack Jericho" he says causing Frost and Markus to look at each other "We have to get out of here" Connor says so Frost smirks "No we don't, go down and tell everyone to take a seat" she says.
Perkins' eye widen seeing the ship moving and he says "Take down whoever's controlling it!" "Sir, the one controlling it is a human" one of the agents says "Shit" Perkins mumbles, he couldn't kill a human, even if there were tons of deviants on board "Let the ship go" he says "They won't get far anyway".
Frost looks back to the land and she smiles slightly "We did it Markus" she says turning to him and he nods "Go, someone wants to tell you something, I'll take it from here". Frost heads down and sees the androids cleaning the rooms "I'm sorry" Connor says "How do I know you changed?" Frost asks, Connor looks down, not knowing how to answer to that when Frost holds out her knife to him "Remove it" she says earning a confused look, while North is watching the two carefully "The LED" Frost says so Connor takes off his beanie before taking the knife, Frost grins seeing his hair messed up, once he removed the LED he puts the beanie back on and Frost hugs him "And a haircut" she says with a smile "No haircut" Connor says, but he's dragged over to North who says "You two are surprisingly cute together" "Thanks" Frost says, though she's blushing "Where are we going anyway?" Josh asks "Somewhere where no humans live" Markus says "Kamski told me about an island, it used to be an industrial island" Frost says.
Hank watches the ship disappear and he looks down, he lost the one who was like a daughter to him "They'll come back when the situation is better" Fowler says "You only hope so cause you lose two of your best detectives" Hank says, he knew they couldn't have stayed even if the revolution had worked.
"I look stupid" Connor says, North had somewhat kept his original hairstyle, but it was considerable messier then it used to "No complaints" Frost says with a smile, she goes to Markus who looks at her when she enters "We're finally free" he says putting his arm around "Yeah we are" Frost says "Kamski said that if we managed to be completely free he'd take over CyberLife again, jokes on him now" "Frost can we talk?" Connor asks "In private" he adds seeing Markus "Yes?" Frost asks once Markus left "I'm scared they will try to take control of my program again" Connor says "There might be a way to prevent that, but you won't like it" Frost says "Please" he says "Alright then" Frost says, she didn't like what she was about to do, but she had to before CyberLife destroyed them all.
