Karissa's P.O.V

Shoutout to it being basketball season and club volleyball season. Honestly my favorite seasons. I decided to get ready because the boys had practice and managing includes getting their water for them. I showered and just put on a sweatshirt with jeans and boots because i mean it's just practice. Sam would be here to pick me up in 5 minutes so we could go get breakfast before practice. Sam usually drives me places because i don't have a car yet because since my brothers older, he's the first priority. Sam's been my best friend since we were in diapers. There has never been a time where he hasn't been there. A doorbell rang, which interrupted my thoughts, and then i realized Sam was here to pick me up. I opened the door to see Sam in his Westside Basketball sweatshirt and sweats. To be honest he looked so good in sweats, but that's just me. Once i got into Sam's car, i plugged in my phone just to listen to my music. Sam and I have this thing where during the day we listen to my music and at night we listened to his music. Sam and I ended up getting Dunkin Donuts because it's the quickest. Sam being the gentleman he can be, bought me my doughnut and drink. The car ride was silent, but it was a comfortable silence. Usually Sam and I would talk the whole time, but today we were both just exhausted. We pulled up to the school next to Mike. Mike got out his mom's car and came into Sam's so his mom could leave. "Mike, do you have a ride home?" Mike's Mom said. "Uh, Sam could you take me home?" Mike said. "We could chill if you want, and i could take you home from that." Sam said. "Is that okay with you mom?" Mike said. "Well as long as you get home somehow, i'm fine with that." Mike's mom said. Right when Mike's mom sped off, just about all of the team got out of their cars to go into the gym. I got into the gym with the rest of the boys and went to my usual spot to put my things down. I went to the trainer to go fill their water bottles with the other manager, Sarah who was there with me. She actually likes a boy on the team but always hides her feelings about him. Sarah and I put the waters down in the gym and went to sit up against the wall. I looked up and immediately saw Sam. Sam playing basketball was the most attractive ever. Every time I've been with him, I can feel myself falling for him. But also each time I'm with him, I always brush it off, knowing that he could have millions of girls standing at his door step with a snap of his fingers. The more fame Sam gets, the more girls there are and the more of a reason I have to brush off my feelings for him.
