Karissa's POV

On the way to my tournament all I could think about was Sammy. Just the thought of him wouldn't leave my mind. But I do gotta admit his angry jealous side is very attractive. As the day went on, the games went from easy to hard in a matter of two matches. This 3rd game would help us determine if we go to the Championship. If we win, we go to the Championship, and if we lose then were done and play for third place. I just happened to look into the stands while warming up with my usual pepper partner, Molly. Molly so happened to have this huge crush on Jack J. So she too always hoped that Sammy would bring him along with. I caught sight of Mama Wilk and right when I was about to give up hope on Sammy being here, there he was with both Jacks. When I just happened to look at him, he was smiling that smile of his that I just happened to love so much. I turned back to my pepper partner, Molly, who just happened to be staring at Johnson. I've started to realize that there's definitely something there between her and Johnson but they both are oblivious to it. The shared time on the court was finished and since we lost the coin toss, our opponent was the home team, so they were on the court first. My team on the other hand went off to the side and returned some hits from our coach. After a minute of those, we did ten blocks and went to watch our opponent hit. While watching the other team was hitting, my eyes just happened to wander towards Sammy, the Jacks, and Sammy's mom. Johnson was what looked to be like asking Gilinsky for money. Mama Wilk was what looked to be like telling Johnson that he had enough money. Then there was Sammy. He was watching the warm ups like a little kid watching their favorite show. I had nothing against him watching. I actually took pride in it. Into all my thoughts about Sammy, I didn't realize it was my teams time on the court. We did some serving and then went straight to hitting. Of course our opponent was judging hard core but who wouldn't when you're in the championship? Warm ups finished and it was the time we've been waiting for. In the beginning in went kill after kill, run after run, and rally after rally. But finally it came to the point that mattered. The match point. The one that would mark us as the championships of the Chicago Tourney. Molly was up to serve. Her ball moved in the air and the passer shanked the ball. We just won! My team won the championship! The people on the bench and all joined us teammates on the court. We all were hanging each other and screaming. This is a moment that all of us have been wanting for a while now. All our hard work has been put to good use. We shook the opponent's hands and then we all jumped on each other. The tournament director came out and handed us the plaque. And then it hit me, we just won. All the parents came over including the Jacks and Sammy. Gilinsky being Gilinsky jumped in our photo after a decent amount was taken. You gotta admit it was funny because none of us saw it coming so we all just laughed. I turned over to Sammy and ran and hugged him. Like what other boyfriend gets to see you win your championship game? Then when I was about to walk away from Sammy he pulled me back and said,"Wait you forgot something ." Then at that moment he kissed me. Sammy and I pulled out due to Johnson and Gilinsky making kissy noises. I decided to take some pictures with the plaque and of course I got a picture with my favorite boys. In the picture they all picked me up as I held the plaque. Honestly at a moment, I thought they would drop me. Sammy and I took another kissing picture from his request with the plaque. When I turned, I saw Johnson and Molly and knew something was up. I don't want to leave Chicago tomorrow but I would love to see the reactions from my mom about Sammy and I. Until then we wait.
