I didn't know where I was, or where I was going. All I knew was that where Oli should have been running beside me, there was only the wind.

And no matter how fast I ran, I couldn't outrun the fact that I was alone.

Alone...

The word was like a stab to the chest. And it kept twisting and twisting until it was hard to breath.

That was when I realized I was in the middle of a forest. And I was lost.

I couldn't do it anymore.

I broke down.

I screamed and sobbed and kicked the trees. I found a small dead one and rammed into it until if fell. I Stared at the destruction I had caused.

I was a monster.
