Now, it's time to put an end to your misery and solve the cube. In this tutorial, we will make the white face first.

As you can see, the white edges are placed around the yellow center like the flower. Remember, CORNERS DON'T MATTER RIGHT NOW. IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY CORNERS OF ONE COLOR YOU HAVE ON ONE SIDE I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. Now that we have that out of the way...
There is no specific algorithm to make this, so this is a trial-and-error thing. The people I have taught this to in real life had a lot of difficulties with this particular step so do not fear, child. You are not stupid I'm just bad at explaining.
When you're done, it's time to make the actual cross.
As you can see, there is another color on the white edges. That color matches with one of the middle pieces between the white and the yellow. Move the top layer (the one with the flower) until you find a match. When you do, turn it downwards twice. Do that until you have no white flower petals left.

Here, the person would have to do the move F2, to get the orange down. Quick reminder: Never rotate the D layer during this process.
