Do you have a scrambled Rubik's Cube laying around somewhere? Are the mixed colors driving you insane? Have you politely tucked it away and completely avoided it? Do you just want to solve it to calm your mind?

I swear, this was the absolute hardest part when I was a beginner. I won't judge you if you don't understand so just ask.
In this chapter we will make the 2nd layer by putting the edges in. This algorithm might look a bit long but it's easy when you get the hang of it.
First off, you need to find an edge that doesn't have yellow on it. That edge has a place between the middle pieces. You need to place it accordingly:

As you can see, the color facing us is placed right above it's match. Afterwards you'll be able to see if the edge is supposed to go right or left. (In this case, right).

If you find a piece that is not in the right slot or is turned the wrong way, using the same method as with the corners, simply do the algorithm (take notice of what side it's on, like if it's to the right, do the algorithm for placing an edge in the right slot).
If you've come this far, I'm impressed (and proud). Most people give up around here. Remember to ask if you're uncertain about something c:
