Light Hides Shadows

     On the rooftop of their dorm Shadow is explaining to Veronica why his powers are so rare.

Shadow: "Their are seven of us."

Veronica: "Seven? You mean like 'seven' people on earth with your powers?"

Shadow: "Yep."

Veronica: "So what happens if a bad guy gets the powers?"

Shadow: "Nothing, the powers stay. Until the user dies at least."

Veronica: "Are there any ways we can fight against 'Shadow Users' if they come here?"

Shadow: "Yeah, by a Light Bender."

Veronica: "What's a Light Bender?"

Shadow: "They're people. . . It's not safe to talk up here. Let's go inside."

     As soon as he said that they were teleported back into the dorm room by shadows. Shadow went back to bed, and so did Veronica. The following morning Esther had plans for them all.

Esther: "GET UUUUUUUUUUUPP.!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Raiden: "I'm up." (Not shaken by the fact that Esther just yelled."

Shadow: "What? I'm (yawn) going back to bed."

Veronica: "WAKE UP OR I'LL SLAP YOU IN THE FACE AS MANY TIMES AS YOUR AGE."

Shadow: "I'm up, I'm up. Please don't slap me."

              !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SLAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shadow: "OOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW, I THOUGHT I SAID NOT TO SLAP ME. IT'S STILL MORNING!!!!!!!!!"

Veronica: "Meh."

Esther: "Who wants to come with me to the Training Facility?"

Shadow/Raiden: "Me!!!"

Veronica: "I'm good."

Esther: "Aw, okay. Come on guys let's go."

     While Esther is leading Raiden and Shadow out, Shadow decides to bring Veronica along.

Veronica: "Why are you still here? I thought you were going to watch you 'girlfriend'."

Shadow: "SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!!! Besides that's not why I came here."

Veronica: "Then why did yo. . ."

      Shadow grabs Veronica's arm and tugs.

Veronica: "What are you doing? Stop pulling on me!"

Shadow: "No way! You're coming with us!"

           Shadow' tugging with no success
                        After 5 minutes

Veronica: "Okay, okay, I'll come with you guys."

Shadow:"YAYAYYAYYAYAYAYYAA!!!!!!!!!"

Veronica: "You seem to be a bit over joyed."

Shadow: "NOPE, NOT AT ALL!!!!!!! :D"

     Veronica and Shadow caught up with Esther and Raiden, and a third person?

Veronica: "Who are you?" (Extremely threatening face, but not to extreme."

???: "I'm a friend of Esther. My name is Lillie. Nice to meet you."

     Lillie was wearing a dress that was a dark purple. She carried some kind of case with a picture of a rose on it. She also didn't carry a weapon.

Lillie: "I was told to join your group."

Veronica: "WHAAAAAAAAT?!?!"

Shadow: "AWESOOOME!!!!! NEW FRIEND!!!!"

Lillie: "Um, Esther? Are they like this all the time?"

Esther/Raiden: "Yeah."

Veronica: "Why our group?"

Lillie: "I'm sorry?"

Veronica: "Why did you have to choose our group? There are plenty of other groups in the school!?!?"

Shadow: "Let's not be mean to our new team mate. Hello my name is Shadow. Esther gave it to me."

Lillie: "I know. She spaoke alot about you. Especially you powers. Is it cool to teleport using shadows?"

Shadow: "You bet! It's the best feeling ever!"

Veronica: "Speek for yourself. Hey, Shadow, can I talk to you for a minute?"

Shadow: "Aw, may I keep talking with Lillie? She's quite the intriguing person."

Lillie: "Aw, thanks."

Veronica: "NO LET'S GO!" (Dragging Shadow away)

Esther: "Hey, where are you going?"

Veronica: "We'll catch up later. Meet you at the dorm room tonight."

     As the rest of the group, including Lillie, walked to the Training Facility, Veronica kept dragging Shadow to the main hall.

Veronica: "Explain yourself."

Shadow: "About?"

Veronica: "Your powers, and these 'Light Benders' you keep mentioning."

Shadow: "Oh yeah. So the Light Benders can prohibit us from using our powers. And I think there is one among us."

Veronica: "Who. Who is it?"

Shadow: "Esther."

Veronica: "Oh. . . Why do you think it's. . . Her?"

Shadow: "Did I sense a little bit of jealousy in that last statement?"

Veronica: "Whaaaaat, no, shut up."

Shadow: "It's our little secret. Well, to answer your question it's because Light Benders are people with a pure heart. There is something about Esther that keeps ticking at me."

Veronica: "Really? So is there a chanc . . . Change in her heart or something?"

Shadow: "I don't know. What I do know is that it might be her. You see, Light Benders aren't born, these powers are in everyone, but only a few have unlocked them."

Veronica: "Oh, have you met a Light Bender?"

Shadow: "No, but I know there is one in this school, and I will find her."

Veronica: "Her? How fo you know it's a 'her'?"

Shadow: "I don't, I just assumed." ^-^ " Is that all?"

Veromica: "Yeah, that's all."

Shadow: "Sweet, come on, I want to see Esther fight!"

As Shadow was running to the Training Facility

Veronica: (whispering to herself) "Perhaps, I can become a Light Bender."
