Esther

Esther: "Hey, where's Shadow? I want to try his sword out."

Lillie: "You don't know?"

Raiden: "They never told her."

Esther: "Who never told me what?"

Lillie: "They went out for dinner."

Esther: "What?"

Raiden: "Yeah, he asked her out this morning."

Esther: "I'll go look for them."

Lillie: "They're at the restaurant down the street."

Esther: "You mean the one with a bunch of flowers in the front?"

Raiden: "Yep."

Esther: "Oh, I'll go get them."

Lillie: "Why do you want to get them?"

Esther: "Because they are late for our team meeting."

Raiden: "Okay then. Go get them."

     5 minutes later. . .

Esther: (in front of the restaurant) "Why did they have to be here?"

???: "Miss Esther?"

Esther: "Huh?"

???: "Why, it is you!"

Esther: "Oh, hey Clemont."

Clemont: "Your father had been looking all over for you! Where have you been?"

Esther: "I thought I told him I was going to attend Combat Academy."

Clemont: "And you actually did?"

Esther: "Oh no, I went to join a club, OF COURSE I JOINED THE ACADEMY!"

Clemont: "Why the hostility?"

Esther: "Because you all treat me like I'm some hopeless princess! I am sick of it!"

Clemont: "We are trying to keep you safe."

Esther: "By home schooling me my whole life? Keeping me inside the house? Not letting me hang out with friends?"

Shadow: "Hey, what's going on here? Oh, and sorry for the intrusion." (Coming from the restaurant)

Clemont: "You may leave now."

Shadow: "Oh, sorry. I'll go now." (Walks back inside.)

Esther: "Nevermind this. I have to get my friends."

Clemont: "Your father won't be happy."

Esther: "He never is."

     Back in the room. . .

Esther: "Hey guys."

Lillie: "You got mail."

Esther: "From who?"

Raiden: "Your Dad."

Esther: "Oh, yay."

     Shadow and Veronica enter the room. . .

Veronica: "Hey guys!"

Lillie: "How was your date?"

Shadow: "It wasn't a date. It was a treat to dinner."

Raiden: "Sure. Esther, here's the letter."

Esther: "Thanks." (Walks to her bed and sits reading."

Shadow: (Whispering) "What's going on? I saw her arguing to a well dressed person in front of the restaurant we were eating at."

Lillie: "Her family isn't 'together' at the moment."
