Veronica's Fear (Part 1)

     Team Esther is at the breakfast lounge. Today they were planning to train right after class but, fate decided to not let them do that.

Raiden: "How much did it cost?"

Lillie: "My tea? Twelve dollars."

Raiden: "Should've let me pay."

Lillie: "Oh no, I'm fine."

Esther: "Seriously, when are you two going to get together?"

Lillie/Raiden: "WHAT!?!?"

Veronica: "Yeah, when are you going to get togther?"

Raiden: "We're not together!"

Lillie: "Yeah! We're not!"

Veronica: "Shadow, help me and Esther out get these two together. Shadow?"

     Shadow was looking at the TV when she asked.

Student Reporter: "Good morning academy. Today we have some news of the fire that broke out last night."

Esther: (Whispers to Veronica) "Hey, weren't we there last night?"

Veronica: (Whispering back) "Yeah."

Student Reporter: "Last night a trio of heros jumped into the burning building and saved ten lives! We have footage of the trio jumping into the building and bringing people out." (A video of Esther, Veronica, and Shadow plays on the screen. It shows them jumping into the building and, pulling people out. Nearing the end it shows Veronica and Esther extinguishing the flames.)

Student A: "Hey, I was there. They looked cool."

Student B: "I was too. Were you able to see their faces?"

Student A: "Nope, it was like they had masks."

Student Reporter: "It appears that there are two women and one man. The two women appear to be dressed in black and white while the man is dressed in black and gold. We also have reports of another person at the scene of the fire. That person was unidentified and no trace were found. That concludes our top story for today! Now on to the weather. . ."

Raiden: "It appears you three are heroes."

Lillie: "Yeah! It must be so cool!"

Veronica: "I guess."

Esther: "It's awesome!"

Shadow: "Who was that other person? Was it Dementia or someone else?" (Saying this to himself)

Esther: "You need to stop worring about them."

Lillie: "Yeah, they haven't done anything wrong. Maybe they changed?"

Shadow: "Trust me. They won't change in two months."

Raiden: "Okay, we're done with eating. Let's go to class now."

Esther: "Okay."

     During class. . .

Mr. Cloud: "Good morning! Today we will be talking about equipment. As you may know the arsenal of a warrior is what keeps him or her alive."

Tucker: "We know that already! Let one of us fight one another!"

Mr. Cloud: "Don't intrude during class. But as you wish, Tucker, you will take the floor."

Tucker: "Finally."

Mr. Cloud: "You may choose your opponent."

Tucker: "I choose the kid in black. He looks weak enough."
