Erza's P.O.V

I took Bisca's advice to heart and decided that I'll tell him. Though, for the past week and a half I've been scraping up the courage to talk to him. If he talks to me at all this week, my courage will fade.

I heard a knock on my door and Bisca came in.

"Just came to say goodbye. I'll see you in one week's time."

I stared at my hands as I nodded.

She came to sit beside me. "Have you told him yet?"

I shook my head. "I'm still building up the courage."

"Well you better do it quickly, girl. He's leaving tomorrow."

I sighed because I knew she was right and cause I didn't want him to go.

"I've decided."

"Hm?"

"I'm going to tell him tonight." I took a deep breath hoping this was the right thing to do, but what other choice did I have?

After our chat, Bisca, Alzack and Azuka left. Leaving me and Jellal alone in the foyer.

I felt his eyes on me before he walked away without a word.

"Wait!" I said as I grabbed the end of his sleeve.

"Um, would you mind.. having lunch with me?" I said shyly. I felt my cheeks heat up.

He blinked a few times. "Sure!" He smiled warmly at me.

I smiled back and couldn't help it as I threw myself into his embrace. He held me tightly and we stood there for a few minutes.

Lunch

We were sitting in the backyard having lunch. Everything was silent until the urge to speak overwhelmed my being.

"I-I'm sorry for avoiding you these past few weeks." I stuttered.

"It's okay. I understand that you've been busy and that you've been under a lot of presure. Think about the mountain of work waiting for me back at Stella!"

I laughed. The paperwork is probably piling up.

We were finally able to have a normal conversation again. However I was still nervious to tell him how I felt.

No matter what, I'm gonna tell him tonight!

Narrator

That night

Erza sat on her bed staring at her hands nerviously.

What if he rejects me? No! He said he loved me. But..

"Nnnngg, why does being girl have to be so confusing?!" She complained aloud.

"Well, I don't think you're confusing." Jellal said.

"Wha! J-Jellal!" She said sitting bolt right up. She walked over to the door and invited him in.

"You called me here?" He said.

"U-um, yes." She stuttered. They moved over and sat down on the bed.

"Okay..."

"Y-You see, there's something I've been meaning to tell you."

"Um, what is it." Her behaviour already had his nerves all over the place. What was she going to say.

"That day we kissed. You... You said you.. loved me," she said the last two words so quietly his ears almost missed them.

"Yes and.. I still do."

His words had her body go stiff. Tears were now streaming down her cheeks. Though they weren't because of sadness, they were tears of guilt and relief.

"I want you to know that.." she swallowed hard. "I love you, too."

Her words shocked him even though that didn't matter 'cause he quickly pulled her into a tight hug.

Her in his arms. It just felt right.

As they pulled away she stared into his eyes as their faces grew closer. Eventually, when they could feel each other's breath on their lips, she couldn't take it anymore.

She grabbed his face, cupping his cheeks, and pulled him in. She kissed him roughly though he didn't refuse.
