A Time to Celebrate

Erza's POV

It's been one year ever since Titania was born. We're having her first birthday party today!

Her hair has gotten longer. It now reached just above her shoulders. And the funniest thing about her was that her first word was cake.

Now all she says is, "Mamma, cake!"

She's super adorable.

"Hey, Jellal?"

"Yeah, Sweets?"

"Um, can I talk to you in private?"

"S-sure...?"

Jellal's POV

Erza was acting strange and it scared me. She won't usually act like this. Especially not this forward, unless it was something important.

I followed her until we were quite aways from the party.

"Jellal what do think about an extra asset to the kingdom?"

"What do you mean? Erza, did you do something without my notice?!"

"Not really. But you don't know all the details."

"What? Erza, what are you talking about?!"

"Aah! Screw it! I wanted it to be a surprise but I geuss I'll come right out. Jellal, I'm pregnant.. again."

"What? Erza that's amazing! But please don't scare me like that again!"

I smiled a huge smile. I was so happy and I kinda recall when her mood swings started, but I've gotten so accustomed to her personality that I didn't really notice.

"For how long have you known about this?" I asked.

"For about three weeks."

She blushed slightly and I couldn't help but find it adorable. I cupped her cheeks and kissed her roughly in a way she couldn't help but go along with.

We got back to the party hand in hand and also made plans to celebrate the arrival of our new child. Both going out to a restaurant or something and staying in.

"Alright let's cut some cake!" I said.

We sang Happy Birthday and cut the cake after. Titania's eyes were completely sparkling at her slice of cake.

"I think you might have some competition for your cake." I whispered into Erza's ear.

"That's fine as long as she's happy." She smiled.

Titania turned around with a cake covered face.

"Daddy! Up!" She said, opening and closing her tiny hands that were covered in vanilla frosting.

I chuckled and cleaned her hands before I picked her up.

"Hey, everyone! I have an announcement to make." Everyone turned their attention to us. "We're having another baby!" I yelled into the crowd

Everyone cheered in joy.

"I really love you, you know?" Erza said. No, she was not sarcastic.

Titania pouted and started crying slightly.

I smiled.

"Don't worry, mommy loves both you and daddy!"

"Yay!" She smiled. I set her down on the ground and we watched as she ran off to play.

I smiled at Erza. She looked at me sweetly. "I think this calls for a time to celebrate, don't you?"

She smiled at me.
