Chapter 4

Then there was a mysterious voice that came to me in my puppy dreams. It said,"Come here Golden" She then whistled, and said,"over here boy...come on...." I was in a dark room and walked forward a few steps, then looked around and saw a beautiful she-wolf. She was white and had turquoise eyes. Her ears where perked up and her tail was wagging at a slow tick motion. Almost as if the second hand on a clock slowed to about the pace of the minuet hand but just a bit faster than that. She then said, "Good wolf...who's a good pup....you are!...." She walked a circle around me, inspecting every detail of my fur. I started to get excited and my tail started to wag happily, in big full swings. Left... to right and over again and again. She then sat down across from me and said,"Ace, that magical wolf, is going to kick you out of the pack, shun you, and kill you out of envy...." She smiled and I started to get scared,then I woke up. Everything seemed like normal, like I had a nightmare and no one moved. Almost like time had froze when I feel asleep. The rival pack had left and Chance was just fine, but had no memory of the She-wolf or the rival pack. Ace saw me get up and quickly said, "Are you OK?...... You collapsed onto the ground....You were out cold." I said,"yeah" and proceeded to show my teeth and growl at Ace. I lunged at him and pinned him to the ground. He said,"Golden, why are you doing this?" I gave a instant reply,"Why do you want to kill me?...." Tears started to form in the corners of my eyes.
